Dr. Michelle Anne Mclanahan, MD

We absolutely love Dr. McLanahan, her assistants, and her entire office staff! They have a very professional demeanor, and are very courteous towards us! Their waiting room is so beautiful it feels like we are in a resort hotel! The bathrooms are extraordinarily clean, and have a beautiful fragrance. Ice cold water fountain in the lobby is a nice touch. Their medical equipment is high-tech, and gives us confidence that our new Baby is getting the best care in all of Florida! We whole-heartedly recommend this highly educated and professional Baby Doctor!

Waiting room is absolutely filthy. If they are going to make you wait an entire hour after the scheduled appointment time, they could at least clean the place. Rugs are heavily stained and the furniture is disgusting to sit in.

I was a long time 20 year patient and for the first 18 years McLanahan was great. However over the past two years her visits have been pushed from her to her PA, nice girl but not a full fledged Doc which is why I believe my ulitimate diagonis was missed for a YEAR until I refused to see the PA but only the DOC. With that said, my last 3 appointments with the Doc had waiting times of more than 2 hours and I left twice after 2 hours and gave up. I am really upset to lose this Doc but feel like I haven't had the one on one care she had been so good with in the past. Perhaps she has gotten too busy to recognize she has lost her patient considersation. The nursing staff is friendly and professional but the front desk staff is often rude and a bit to personal over the phone. This concern was shared but the behaviour was never addressed.

Please find a different doctor in your area. This doctor is not worth the time and trouble. She had lot of experience has good reviews in the past. Made a visit to the doctor's office,irrespective of the bad press on her and only by looking at how experienced she is . The staff were unprofessional and don't know how to treat their patients. My experience was pretty bad.

After 19 years you still don't have good reviews Michelle. Maybe you causing my firstborn grandchild brain damage botheres you enough he can't be a good doctor. For the sake of your own born child stay away from Michelle she sucks as a doctor. 19 years later the child is still suffering from her damage. Everything about you is poor Michelle.

The office staff was horrible! I was pregnant and when I first saw dr. Mclanahan she was great and so was the office AT FIRST. I remember when I had my first appointment with her and she said listen if you miscarriaged please let me know so I can take care of you. Well I miscarriaged and then rushed to her office and the staff was like "listen what do you think we are going to do, just see you?" I said yes of course this is my Obgyn and I need her to know what's going on. They were like oh well she can't see you so your going to have to go to the emergency room. I was in shock and couldnt believe that. I did exactly what she told me to do at the beginning. The staff then called me back that day after me going to the emergency room to confirm I was having a miscarriage and said well we can get you in the next day about 4:30pm. I tried to make it but was stuck in traffic and just got off work and my husband and mother in law were already there waiting for me and they got soo ride with my… husband and was like listen we can't see her sir there is no way. Well my husband is no longer aloud there and they were very unprofessional. I would NOT RECCOMMEND THEM AT ALL!! Ladies don't waste your time plus the WAIT TIME IS UNBELIEVABLE. My first appointment I got there on time and they made me wait 1 hour and a half!! Not cool like I didn't even exist. They also need to get new staff. Rudeeeee! The doctor didn't even call me back after that. I was so sad. I couldn't believe them. I was soo hurt by them and dr. Mclanahan could care less about you. She is way overrrrrr booked . Not worth it. It was soo bad I had to call The insurance company and let them know .. Go somewhere else ladies!!

You should only go to this office if you are pregnant. Even if you have the first appointment of the day you will be seen as long as two hours later because pregnant women come first. In other words she only caters to the ones that bring the money.

The black lady at front desk is sometimes abrupt however everyone else is amazing. They care about your wellbeing and are very thorough

This is the worse obgyn office I've ever been to. Unprofessional. Sarah the office manager needs to find a new profession. Very rude and nasty, I love the p.a lauren but the office is overall bad. Don't even chance it find another office if you were considering this one. Plz!!!

I had a great experience with Dr. McLanahan's office. I was scheduled to see her within two weeks of my first phone call to her office, which I thought was great for a new patient appt. Her staff was friendly, kind, and very gentle (lab work). Before she could see me, she had to leave to deliver a baby. I chose to wait and she was back very promptly and spent time with me. I enjoyed my visit and her professionalism. She was referred to me very highly by one of her patients. They were right! She will be my choice for my OB/GYN doctor. Thank you to all her team for a very pleasant appointment today.
