Dr. Michelle Anne Mitchell, MD

I was lucky to get an appointment with plush care. I've been feeling sick for 2 weeks and finally the green chunky phlem coughing up from my lungs, and the fever has become unbearable. I needed the help of medical professionals. Doctor Michelle Mitchell asked me to open my mouth and looked at my throat through my phone camera and said, "oh that looks really red and sore and I see the green phlem." I did't have a sore throat and the phlem isn't coming up from deep within my lungs. I called to get medical care but instead she just prescribed stronger over the counter medicines that I've been taking for the last 2 weeks. I asked for an antibiotic that worked a few years ago when I had similar symptoms That worked like magic but she said no. I'm gonna have to find an emergency clinic tomorrow and pay more money to get the medical care that I need. This was a very quacky experiene.

Dr. Mitchell has extremely poor bed side manner, is rude, and extremely condescending. If you are looking for an empathetic and warm doctor who is inviting and generally interested in you as a person look elsewhere.

Zero empathy for patient illness and suffering, ZERO! She told me she wasn't interested in my case/ symptoms because she was there just to cover for a physician on vacation, to wait 3 weeks for him to come back, that she could send me to the lab for a CBC if that made me happy. At her first appointment, she told my friend she was not going to be able to help her if she did not stop eating, just because she is a few pounds overweight, despite the fact the physician is pretty chubby herself.

Dr. Mitchell has treated my mother for over a decade and she is a wonderful, thoughtful, educated and sensible physician. She takes a preventative approach to care and often elects to take the most holistic and non-invasive route first, rather than jumping to use more drastic operative or drug therapies right off the bat. This is not to say that she will not resort to these methods if necessary, but she is not a doctor that will dole out drugs and surgical referrals on demand. Obviously, this does not sit well with everyone. She does not have what you might call a cheery bedside manner, but she is pleasant, professional, listens to her patients and is obviously very dedicated to their long-term health and finding practical solutions for their care needs. My mother speaks very highly of her and I have seen on my visits the affection, patience and utmost respect with which she treats her. We could not ask for a better physician.

Patients need more kind attention, and perhaps simply more time.

I made an appointment believing that would actually see the doctor. Wrong. Know that the first "appointment" is simply to take your information. The office was depressing. I thought at any minute a chicken would run through the "waiting room." What a waste of time.

Dr. Michelle Mitchell is the best physician I have seen in many, many years. She makes highly educated decisions concerning my physical, internal, & mental health diagnosis and treatments. She has referred me out to specialists and then followed up with the results each time. Dr. Mitchell is dedicated to providing her patients the best care possible. She makes sure that I understand the diagnosis and treatments. And most of all...she cares.

I went in for answers and left with more questions... that they refused to answer..... ???? "Dr. M" As she calls herself did not answer all of my questions, nor offer any solutions to the issue I posed. I tried speaking to her office staff initially and they did not offer any solutions either, just a heartless response that did not directly answer my very specific questions. When I finally did talk to her directly, she said that my questions were already answered (THEY WEREN'T) and gave me the dates of when I sent them messages. Offered no compassion, and NO SOLUTIONS. Just condescension and telling me to "schedule an appointment since it seems I need further clarification." My final response was a list of three of my unanswered questions... and that I'm going to find another doctor to answer them. How much time could it take to answer 3 questions without beating around the bush and offer some understanding? 5 minutes, tops. Why schedule an appointment for 5 minutes of… explanation? Another issue, I messaged the PA, but for some reason, I spoke to a few people in her stead. DO NOT MESSAGE SENSITIVE INFORMATION TO THEM ON THEIR WEBSITE UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND OTHER PEOPLE KNOWING AND CORRESPONDING WITH YOU. Who knows who they're going to tell? I don't trust them! But I was willing to talk to them for answers... in vain. Further, their office staff is a little loud and unprofessional. I recall a boisterous conversation about butternut squash. One of them just made up a number for my blood pressure!! I told her it was fine, but what is that?! Just a baaad experience overall. If I could put zero stars, I would.

She is an extremely rude doctor! She has the worst bed side manner of any doctor I've ever had!!!

As an aging person, I appreciate a youthful, modern Doc who will help me stay focused on good health and quality of life. Also, I appreciate a Doc who will take the time to talk with me about what I need to talk about.
