Dr. Michelle Ross Scargle, MD

If I could give this a zero I would. When my husband and I made the appointment we were told he would be seen by Dr. Scargle and that she didn’t take Tricare which is military insurance and the cost would be $300 for the first visit with her. We were also told that she provides talk therapy. My husband struggles with mental health issues and we specifically asked not to do drug therapy and be able to speak to the doctor. When I dropped him off he came home with drug prescriptions and did not see the doctor but saw Andrew Warhol the NP who told him to come back in a month. I called Jessica, the office manager, expressed my concerns and she told me we couldn’t get our money back because he was given a service even though it was not what we were supposed to get. No empathy and no offer to at least refund half of the cost. They don’t do talk therapy just drugs and send you on your way. Very terrible and disappointing that they can tell you one thing and you get another.

She listens and shows you that she really cares about your mental health!

As a medical professional who is choosy about my doctors, I wouldn't still be her patient after many years if she wasn't quite good at psychiatry (diagnosing & prescribing drugs). She is not a therapist nor a counselor: that isn't her job. Psychiatry is not an exact science, nor do patients' "official" diagnoses necessarily stay the same over time. I have found her to be very professional, knowledgable, compassionate, friendly and easy to talk to. She's a good listener & remembers my history.

She is the most compassionate, understanding Doctor of any kind I have ever seen!

She listens if not in a hurry. But don't disagree or suggests the medication she was giving will not be good for you, she will get out of the office. We are the ones who have the reactions of any side effect. Also, she prescribes very, very expensive medications, just because they are in promotion. If you can afford, then ones again you will be out of the office or terminated without any reasonable reasons, just for request different medications. Then why we see more people with mental health without care, psychiatrists do not have the vocation to help even when we ask for it!

I called the office and spoke to the receptionist in reference to making an appointment for a family member. The receptionist said she had to "speak to the doctor" and would call me back to make an appointment. Their office never called me back. If the office does not even return a phone call after they state that they will, it means the whole office staff is incompetent, including the doctor.

Nightmare. I suffer from Cronic pancreatitis, this woman prescribed a medication after my second visit with her that patients with chronic pain create Titus should never ever take. That ended up with me in the hospital for two weeks. The initial appointment I provided her with a timeline of medical problems or my past problems I wanted to work on with her every single appointment I had to rehash my extremely painful past that was a 20 minutes story all over again. If you're looking for a Doctor Who has your back and your best interest to not go to see this woman her staff is come to Lee Lee arrogant and face-to-face she's nice but over the phone or calling the pharmacy, she is quite the opposite except she has her staff do all the dirty work for her. My last appointment I went in because I was feeling thoughts of hurting myself and running away and she just went ahead and threw a prescription at me not realizing that A medication she put me on has adverse side effects such as… feelings of severe depression, panic attack, and thoughts of suicide. After telling her I felt this way and I needed help, she went ahead and terminated me as a patient luckily I have a good support system but if I didn't I may not be alive today.

Dr.Scargle is all for the patient. she works with you and maintains a very professional doctor patient relationship. she has never demanded her way, not her style. her staff are very friendly and always try to accommodate you. a very tranquil atmosphere. I would highly recommend Dr. Scargle.
