Dr. Michelle Rita Sicard, MD

This doctor was terrible from the start. This review describes my first and last visit with this individual. I brought my then 3 year old son to his yearly physical appointment. She was wearing a lanyard that had many popular Disney characters on it. I made a comment on Wall -E stating it was one of our favorites. The doctor could only name Woody as one of the other MANY characters on her own lanyard. Throughout the rest of our visit she was staring at me wide eyed and questioning, I have dreadlocks and believe she was profiling me. I do not vaccinate my children due to religious exemption. She questioned me on this before allowing my child and I to leave. Upon arriving home about an hour later (we travel about 45 minutes to the officeI brought my sleeping 3 year old inside to his bed, just to have a knock on my door about 15 minutes later. It was a uniformed police officer with a DCF solicitor. They were demanding to see my child stating that they received a report of allegations of… serious physical abuse (mind you my son was not injured, but had light bruising on his legs due to anemia). Not only had this doctor never met me before, she profiled me due to my views and appearance and called the authorities on me. The police officer and DCF agent were shocked at how the allegations were so misleading compared to the current state of my child. Whatever you do don’t go to this doctor. She is malicious and should not work with children at all.
