Extremely knowledgeable Compassion Intelligent Fabulous I have something rare and it’s difficult to deal with and diagnose . Dr Spector and Dr Guardian basically saved my quality of life forever grateful. And I’m a pain as a patient so kudos to her for taking my nerves down. Thank you Dr Spector sincerely.

Rude! Not a great listener. Should not be a woman's health care provider. When I was two days post partum she came to look at my stiches and ripped off the tape so harshly. And wasn't even empathetic about my condition. I am never ever again going to this doctor. She made by other wise great postpartum experience rather bitter for the day she visited me. I did not feel an ounce of care .

Dr Spector is an extraordinarily experienced as well as engaging physician. The office staff is highly competent and quite cordial. I’ve been a very satisfied patient for over 15 yrs.

I’ve been under Dr. Spector’s care for about 20 years. I was able to witness her skill and expertise as a result of a somewhat complicated hysterectomy performed over a decade ago. I felt confident in the decisions she had to make during surgery. She is skilled, professional and genuinely cares as she always offers suggestions to improve my quality of life as I progress through womanhood. I moved out of the county about 4 years ago, but I drive about an hour in order to remain under her outstanding care.

My wife and I had our second child delivered two weeks ago at this hospital. Dr. Spector, our OB/GYN, acted very unprofessionally and did not seem to have our care as a primary concern. After having to do a C-Section, they found a complication in my wife's levels that are commonly found in patients who had just had surgery, but Dr. Spector thought there was a chance it could have been COVID. She placed us into isolation and had my wife do a second COVID test. Once my wife tested negative on two different tests, Dr. Spector wanted her to do a THIRD test and refused to remove us from isolation. She also had a endless string of nurses come in and disrupt my wife every hour to draw more blood and run more tests even though we were trying to care for our newborn and allow my wife to get rest after having surgery. None of this was ever properly explained to us on what was happening or what these tests were for. After my wife refused the third COVID test, we heard Dr. Spector shouting at… the nurses while standing just outside the door. She was furious and stated that she was too scared to even come into our room (even though we had just passed two separate COVID tests). Once she finally spoke to us, she refused to accept responsibility for our current treatment and said that someone else was in charge with more COVID experience. The very next morning, Dr. Spector's shift ended and it was a telling sign that we were immediately removed from the isolation protocol once the next doctor took over. Our treatment drastically improved and we heard the following things: - Multiple nurses and doctors confirmed that Dr. Spector was the one in charge of our care the entire time, in spite of what she said. - The COVID department considered us to have low chances of COVID and were only acting out of Dr. Spector's requests. - Nurses described our whole ordeal as "a waste of PPE." - A hospitalist called Dr. Spector's COVID scare "an over-read of the results." Dr. Spector suspected that we may have had COVID and placed us under an intense protocol that was called into question by multiple staff members at different levels of the hospital, yet no one was able to escalate these questions to get us help. At the same time, Dr. Spector refused to engage with us and acted unprofessionally out of fear for her own health. Dr. Spector may have her merits as an OB/GYN under normal circumstances, but during this pandemic, we found her actions to be alarming and perhaps indicative of someone who can not handle the pressure of working in a pandemic environment. If you find yourself under Dr. Spector's care, I would highly advise that you proceed with caution or request another doctor who is better able to work under the pressure.

This doctor is one of the most unprofessional doctors I have ever met. I am not one to complain, but I want you to know so you do not have to suffer like I did. Upon, first meeting Michelle, I thought she was capable, bright, and was happy to know she could potentially be delivering my daughter. On the day of my delivery, she was obnoxious, unprofessional, and left me in pain for a couple of hours while she went out to lunch. I told her the epidural was not working and she insisted that what I was feeling was pressure and not pain. The epidural dispenser showed an error which none of the nurse's could seem to fix. The doctor refused to do anything about the pain I was feeling because she insisted it was not there. I was in so much pain I became dizzy, could barely talk, did not feel like I could even respond. She blamed my faintness on the epidural. The nurse told me I was ready to push, but she could not do anything to help me because the doctor went out to lunch. I waited two… hours in horrific pain while supposedly having the epidural. Upon arriving, she made it clear her priority was her own schedule. Needless to say, I did not heal correctly because she was in such a rush to check me off her schedule. Please do not go to this doctor. She treats her patients like another number. She will not help you if you experience discomfort. I wish I would have known this before leaving my daughter's birth in the hands of such a careless medical professional.

I was very impressed with Dr. Spector. Through a miscomunication with the front desk person, I didn't realize I needed a seperate appointment if I had a lot of questions to go through-I was told I could ask during my annual exam.While Dr. Spector requested that next time, I schedule a woman's wellness appointment if I have that much to discuss with her, she still took the time to answer all of my questions. She was extremely accomidating, had a great bedside manner, and, most importantly, took the time to be thorogh in answering my questions.Based on this appointment, I would highly recommend her to family/friends.
