Dr. Michelle Huong Trandai, MD

She is one of the worst doctor's ive ever had. During a procedure in which she said she would talk me through it, she was rushing and hurt me so bad i hurt my back and was crying because i felt violated. When other doctors performed that same procedure, they were gently and spoke to me during the entire procedure of what was happening, significantly less painful than with Dr Trandai. Today at my appointment which started at 10am, i didn't see the doctor until almost 1130 (1.5 hrs later) and i tell her i have to get back to work. I only mentioned this so we could move along the appointment at a quicker pace. She starts to say if i want a doctor that is on time i need to find someone else. She became irate and got up suddenly saying she needed a break. I say excuse me ive been waiting, how much longer do i have to wait? She says I dont know and tries to slam the door, but i grab it and im in the hallway right behind her. I tell her i dont appreciate the lack of professionalism.… She storms off into another room. I tell the nurse Norma (she is sweet as pie) what is going on and ask her what is the doctor's problem. the doctor eventually comes back we're now two hours into the visit....and again she starts saying that i need to find another doctor because she is never on time. I stop her and tell her look treat me as if i was a patient you actually cared about and help with some kind of treatment. She says well if youre going to see your PCP then i dont need to do anything. That upset me and i said its already been two hours, i havent wasted my time here to not have some type of treatment plan in place. She starts shaking, gets an RX pad, write a script for pain killers. I never told her i was in pain. She also wrote an order for an ultrasound, which i recommended. I will never ever go back to this doctor and you shouldn't waste your time.

Great doctor! I will keep coming back every year!

seems to be in a hurry...poor follow up especially with the test results. not planning to see her again

Dr. Trandai has a great bedside manner and always takes the time to make sure you understand the information she is sharing with you. Her entire staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. If you're looking for a great OBGYN in the Andersonville/Edgewater area, I cannot recommend Dr. Trandai enough.

She knows each of her patients and greets each one like a friend! She listens carefully and makes you feel comfortable. I have been going to Dr. Trandai for years and have no intention of changing doctors!

Dr. Trandai is great. She really takes the time to answer my questions. She is honest but kind and addresses my concerns both as a doctor and as a fellow mom. Although she is only in the office two days per week, she is flexible with her schedule and can usually see me before work.
