I have been seeing Dr. Kara for over 20 years! He is an excellent doctor and I always feel he takes the time to listen to me and discuss any issues I may have. He comes across as very caring, follows up and I have never felt rushed or ignored. That being said, I do have to say, that his secretaries are the worst. They do not follow through and have even hung up on me before. They are rude and very unprofessional. I would even go as far as to say they are lazy. Too lazy to look in my chart and find out a dosage of one of my medications, so I could call my pharmacy and get a refill. Just recently, a medication of mine was on backorder, I called the office and explained the need for an alternative, provided the pharmacy number and when I got to the pharmacy, there was no call from the office or an alternative medication. Guess they don't care about my hypertension.

He is a very intelligent and caring Doctor who carefully listens and recommends conservative treatment. He keeps up to date on latest medical information. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a doctor who does not rush you.

i have been seeing Dr. K since my teens and find him to be one of the most competent physicians that I have ever encountered. in fact, i have my mom now seeing him because with him I know she is in good hands. Not crazy about one of his staff members but he is worth the unpleasantness of dealing with her....
