I guess the person writing the review on August 2013 must be on his payroll. It doesn't surprise me. Doctor Shirininan should change his profession due to greed and bad bed side manners. When money comes before your patients health and compassion for your patients and your job it's time to change professions. When patients come in after their loved one passed and the staff refuses to give records and hides them after knowing that the family is coming to pick it up, that tells me they have something to hide. I suggest patients beware and do not trust this doctor.

Outstanding in expertise and bedside manners!

I just have to say. Dr. Shirinian is a wonderful, thorough oncologist and on of the best doctors I have ever known. He is knowledgeable, patient has an excellent bedside manner. Dr. Shirinian deserves special credit for having such a caring, compassionate staff, nurses and office personnel who will do everything to make a patient feel comfortable, safe and secure. I was referred to Dr. Shirinian by a friend after I had a bad experience with my former oncologist, I am grateful to my friend for recommending Dr. Shirinian, and I now want to recommend him and his kind-hearted, lovely staff to anyone needing a compassionate oncologist,

Doctor Shirinian has a horrible bed side manner, he doesn't visit his patients when they are admitted to Glendale Adventist hospital which is across the street from his office, even if the ER doctor asks for him. He lies to the patient and his family by telling them that the patient is getting 60% better when infact the cancer has spread all over per West Hills ER doctor with a simple X-ray than Glendale Adventist with a CAT-SCAN. He promises radiation and chemo at the end when the patient is on his death bed and can't even breath on his own. He doesn't care about his patients he just cares about the insurance money that he gets per chemo. I would give him 0 stars but it won't let me post, so I have to give him 1 star. I would never recommend this doctor.
