I was a 32H and met with Dr. Choi for a consultation. She was nice and answered all of my questions. She thought I might be a little below the required amount for insurance approval, but she pushed it through to my insurance anyway, and I was approved. Due to her schedule, the length between even getting the consultation scheduled and then the surgery was quite long, but it was worth the wait. I am pretty happy with her work and my overall experience getting surgery at NYU Langone. All of the staff I encountered were nice, and I felt in good hands the entire time. Dr. Choi is a skilled surgeon and I'd recommend her 100%.

Dr. Choi did my breast reduction in October 2025 and I have no regrets about the surgery or choosing her+team to support me. Literally every aspect was smooth. Her team worked with my insurance to help with coverage, scheduling my surgery and all other appointments was easy, I felt well informed, the team answered every question through the MyChart app promptly. Although I was making a big life decision, for them everything was easy. I just showed up, Dr. Choi and her team did all the hard work.

I had a breast reduction with Dr. Choi. She did an incredible job that far surpassed my expectations. There's no scarring, the size is exactly what I'd hoped for, and the recovery was a breeze.

I started seeing Dr Choi in 2006 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her calm compassionate professional care eased my journey through my surgeries and reconstruction. She gave me confidence and security and I am so grateful!

I see I am not alone in being treated with absolutely no care or compassion by Dr. Choi. She was brought in by my breast surgeon to close my mastectomy. I had asked for a flat closure with no reconstruction - you'd think "flat" would be the obvious default if reconstruction is not chosen. Dr. Choi left me with what's known as a "skin sparing" procedure, leaving loose skin, lumps, and asymmetrical scars, as though she expected me to request implants later and left room for them. When I went to discuss a revision to truly flat, she walked in the room yelling at me, insulted me repeatedly for wanting an aesthetic flat closure, comparing my mangled chest to her own c-section, and telling me that she would deign to fix it ONLY if I accepted that it may not be "perfect" - which was not even what I was asking for. Her behavior was brutal. I would not wish this woman on anyone, much less a patient going through cancer treatment. And, yes, I got the revision from another doctor who was… kind and compassionate and, most of all, an excellent surgeon.

This woman destroyed my body years ago. She told me that implants were the only way to "fix" the divot l had in my chest after a lumpectomy and radiation. She was the doctor, she should have known how ill advised it is to put implants in irradiated tissue. The implant burst a month or two later and now it looks as if I've had a mastectomy instead of a lumpectomy. When I went back to tell her what happened she walked out of the room and never came back. I was young, I wish I had sued her.

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish with Dr. Choi and her entire staff. I received top notch care, expert advice and was always treated with the utmost respect. My experience was wonderful, she is a miracle worker and I would highly recommend her.

I met Dr Choi today on my first appointment to discuss the procedure of breast reduction. I was very impressed with her professionalism, patience in explaining the process and answering questions to my queries. Her understanding and reassurance that everything will go well, made me feel better, less worried and confident to go ahead with the procedure, because I am certain that I will be well looked after and in safe hands. Dr. Choi is an exceptionally talented and compassionate surgeon. For anyone seeking breast reconstruction after breast cancer surgery in the New York area, Dr. Choi is not just a superb surgeon capable of making the most discrete scars possible, she also came by my room first thing in the morning after surgery and sat and laughed with me. She really made an effort to get to know me as a person and answer all my questions and concerns with such patience and compassion. Brooke Miller, the PA in her office, is exceptionally knowledge and supportive as well. I feel so lucky to have been in their care.
