Dr. Mikael Daniel Lagwinski, MD

I was very disappointed in Dr. Lagwinski's care. I had concerns regarding his minimum amount of a particular medications. Even though my arthritis lab numbers were great, he refused to lower his minimum quantity. Most likely, I would have been happy with half or less of that medication, he would not lower it Needless to say, I slowly weaned myself off of them and am treating my arthritis naturally. I was informed by a patient of his that he really listens to his patients, but I did not find this to be the case.

I have had Dr, Lagwinski twice. Once for a very short period when Dr. McCarter retired, and then again when they opened a satellite office was opened in Caldwell. All together, he became my Dr. in Caldwell. I will not refer this Dr. to an animal, much less to another human, Dr. wanted to put me on medication that has been proven to have many side effects, even to death. When I told him that I wouldn't be taking the medicine after talking to my family. They had objections to this medication because the contraindications were so much worse than the disease. At that point he became angry and told me that since I had decided against taking it, that he would no longer be my Dr. I have degenerative Arthritis, and Sjogrens Syndrome. Both of these diseases have to be treated. He opted to toss me to the side because I would not take a drug that has a history of cancer to death. I had gone to their office for a long time. This valley has a shortage of Rheumatologists, anda waiting list that is… very, very long, for those that are taking new patients.The Sjogrens Syndrome also needs to be monitored. This Dr. needs to reassess the reasons that made him go into this field in the first place. Was it for money or something else. When he can be so rude , it makes me wonder what he is doing it for. He should be personally made responsible for medication he has given that has ended in death because of the the response it gets. I wonder if he would subscribe it with a clear conscience to his own Mother? I think, perhaps, he would not.

Went to see Dr. Lagwinski for the first time after years of remission for Spondylarthropy. He didn't seem very knowledgeable about my condition, or the associated autoimmune disorders (that he kept mixing up). He was not very helpful and his bedside manner while not awful, certainly could use some work. I returned to a former Dr. after this visit.

I would refer everyone to Dr. Lagwinski. After years of being in a ton of pain that was only getting worse it was Dr. Lagwinski that was finally able to diagnose me. In the exam room he listens to everything you say and will spend as much time with you as needed. He is the only one that has worked with me to get my medications where they should be so that I get the most out of every dose. I just cannot say enough good about Dr. Lagwinski.

Dr. Lagwinski gets the highest marks from me. He was able to finally diagnose what no other doctor has after 7 years of being sent to doctor after doctor. He and his staff are professional, courteous caring. I couldn't imagine where I'd be without them.

My condition is severe. Okay Doctor, but watch out for their RUDE 3rd party billing. They do not work with you; don't want to help make any calls to your insurance company. My insurance pays a portion of the bill and the doctor absorbs or adjusts the balance, I have a $12 co pay. The authorization was processed incorrectly and the 3rd party billing "gal" did not assist, after several calls back and forth, she sent the bill to a collection agency despite me following up with her just robots. I wrote the doctor a complete detailed letter with documentation that I hand carried into his office and asked that he open it personally and I still get the collection calls and no response from the Doctor - needless to say I'm going to a new doctor now. Sad the bill was only under $200, good thing it wasnt the $3000 medicine they administered! That's another story.
