NP Marecki's schedulers refused to give me an appt though requested URGENTLY by BOTH me and my MGH PCP even though they were aware of the diagnosis and the critical nature of urgent remediation, causing injury and extended recovery. Their flippant and rude comments to my requests for an urgent appointment were distressing and insulting. The NP wasn't aware of her staff's refusal, a breach in hospital policy since my request was marked as urgent. Upon visiting NP Marecki, I was told that had I had an appt within 72 hours (which both me and my PCP REPEATEDLY requested), my condition could have been easily treated with rapid recovery. I complained to the Patient Advocate Office at MGH which is a sham. They don't advocate but send the complaint to the people (incompetent, rude, dismissive schedulers) who injured you and ask if they want the complaint to be ignored, which they always do. You then get a letter telling you to go away, with a follow-up number to a dead telephone line. … Schedulers injure people - avoid. AVOID MGH. They have no 3rd party independent reviews of patient complaints, and will do everything to get your money, refusing to drop their bill for injuring you. While the doctors and NPs may care about patients, many of their staff just want sick people to go away and suffer so their workload is reduced. Shame on them.
