Dr. Milada Urban, MD

I went to see Dr. Urban on several occasions when I didn't know better. I was young and had never been to a psychiatrist before. I became addicted to the Xanax she prescribed in copious amounts. When I told her I was concerned and wanted to stop she told me that I must want to stay sick. Stay sick? Are you kidding? I left soon after and had a very hard time stopping the drugs. She is dangerous. Please try and find another Dr. who cares about their patients, listens, and wants the best for them. I wish I had.

Beware of this crazy woman! All she cares about is how much money she can make, does not care about you at all. She is crazier than her craziest patients. Stay away, stay away, stay away. I don’t know how this woman is allowed to be in practice, she’s pure evil.

We were so lucky to have Dr. Urban as our doctor for our 14 year-old son when he was hospitalized for 2 months. She did an absolutely great job to give him the treatment he needed so that he would eventually be discharged from the hospital. Her passion, experience, and knowledge of latest technologies and developments in the field are extensive.

Please do not go see this doctor. She misdiagnosed me and was trying to force me to take drugs. She does not listen to her patients. When i was trying to say no to her drugs, she insulted me and became very angry. Please do not go see this doctor. If you do, get a second opinion.

I went to Dr Urban several years ago for Depression/Anxiety and considered taking my own life before starting my appointments with her. I saw her for more than 6 months (1 visit per week) She explained many things about how I came to be where I was at that point in my life. Helped me see how my ex-wife had verbally/mentally reduced my self esteem to the point of being worthless. I started taking anti depression meds prescribed by her after about 6 visits which helped me soooo much. I now need her help again and look forward to scheduling an appointment with her soon. I have noticed some negative reviews about her and find it hard to believe but felt I had to tell of my experience with her from years ago.... she saved my life. Thanks to all who took the time to read this.

Extremely rude, arrogant to family members when practice questioned. This clinician put my son in a medicated stupor for 2 months and would not listen to family. A day after leaving her practice and two bouts of 51-50s, he is talking and able to have hope back in his life and seeing a psychiatrist who cares. Please be careful when you put your trust in this doc, keep your eyes open.

My regular therapist was on vacation and Dr. Urban filled in. She was wonderful!

I went to this quack years ago she put me in a home in Palo Alto and it was horrible. She also turned me away from my family who only wanted the best for me. She also treated my mother in the hospital where my mom was put in 5 point restraints and was completely striped of her clothing. My mom had COPD at the time and suffered greatly. Shortly after my mom was released she had several strokes and died. Beware of this MD she must have gotten her lisence from a crackerjack box. She has no idea what she's doing I believe all she does is collect a paycheck and disregards and misdiagnosis her patients , fills them up with dangerous medication which can lead to sucidial ideations. Beware of her either you will die at your hand or hers.

I saw her for long enough to get me hooked on Xanax. She was cold and scary and I never felt comfortable with her...ever. I recommend a CBT therapist and a good psychiatrist for meds if necessary. Stay away for Dr. Urban...trust me.

This Dr. misdiagnosed my child and ignored any medical history. She also pushed to medicate my child but failed to articulate the reason. My child is now seeing a more thoughtful provider and doing much better and is not medicated. There is no way that I would recommend this doctor.
