Milap Patel, DO

What cant I saw about Doctor Milap Patel. I had surgery in April of 2023. I was like a toddler and he was my dad teaching me how to walk all over again . Because this is something that he does very well he knew what i was capable of. It was very scary for me but Dr patel was like you got this and today is August 21, 2024 and guess what I got this im walking not running but my pain is very miniamal i have a scar but its in the back of my foot . But I cant thank Doctor Patel enough because he is great at what he does al I can say is trust him and the process and it will go great and ask him the difference between him and a podiatrist and watch his eyes light up. I had an incident and when to go see him and he made sure things were still in tact and I truly appreciate him for that. If you are looking for a great surgeon I recommend him 2 million percent.

I was struck by a car as I was crossing in the crosswalk in downtown Chicago. I was brought to Northwestern where I had the good fortune to have Dr. Milap Patel on call. I remember that when I was in the Emergency Department, Dr. Patel's colleague mentioned how lucky I was to have him on call that day. I agree with his colleague 100%- Dr. Patel did a great job of putting me back together again. It's not just his surgical ability that makes him great- he is patient and has a great sense of humor. I would definitely recommend Dr. Patel to anyone looking for a foot and ankle specialist. He is the best!

Dr.Patel and his team are the best. From the first time I met Dr.Patel to all the follow up appointments, Dr.Patel and his team have nothing but the best. I had a complicated injury and he was able to explain to me in detail what he was planning on doing and how he will get me back to normal mobility. I am few months from surgery and am walking pain-free thanks to Dr.Patel.

Dr. Patel repaired my achilles and got me back to work in 2 months. He is great. Very friendly.

Dr. Patel knew how he was going to fix my broken ankle as soon as he saw my xrays. He described the whole process and told me what to expect for the next year. I never had pain after the surgery. He showed me pictures of how bad my injury was from surgery and how he repaired all the bones and ligaments step by step. I am walking normally without any problems now. Even though he looks young, it is clear that he knows what’s going on and loves what he does. And he is clearly capable! Thank you for your help Dr. Patel
