Dr. Milena Jovanovic Lyon, MD

Saw her for a ten year progressive pre cancerous condition that is now much worse. She claimed she needed prior approval from ins. To do a biopsy so I needed to come back in a few months. She then said I had a self limiting viral infection that L KNOE for a fact lasts about six weeks and I didn't even have any of the symptoms. I said no one has a virus for ten years....how do you know this medical information and terminology. I said I worked 15 with the NHS . Besides why would you think physicians only know any medical info. Then I called insurance to see why the prior auth was taking so long and they said it was never requested and not even needed for a biopsy. Their whole derm Dept at UIC is horrid anyway as I've been in a few times and had a different doctor claim it was a different DC only to say come back in a few months. I thank God went to another derm and he immediately dxed skin cancer without a biopsy and said it needs treated immediately. Do NOT go to her and their derm… Dept as a whole is pathetic. They couldn't even treat something as simple as hormonal acne. Seriously. Therye that bad.

Dr. Lyon is rude and arrogant. Seeing her is a total waste of time and money.
