Dr. Milton Waner, MD

Dr. Waner is a great surgeon and amazing person. He has changed the lives of many children in desperate need for a cure. We are very fortunate to have been told about him. My son was ten month baby and his facial hemangioma was large enough obstructing his sight. It is gone without any complication. He was very compassionate and caring as also his staff. Dr Waner is absolutely amazing.

Disorganized office. Lack of communication and follow up - my last surgery was in May and I still have no idea what he did to me. They prebill for surgeries with the estimated out of pocket cost, then pick and choose which surgeries they do the morning of. Administration is horrendous.Receptionist told me to come for a follow up too early, then had to come back.2 days later for another follow up. Had a surgery apt scheduled for a tonsillectomy and was told to come in a week early, then was sent home because of another case with an "im sorry the surgery took longer than expected" when they stated that it would take the entire day on the 7 o'clock news. Keep pushing surgeries on you like you have deep pockets. - go to another AVM front runner.

When I first met Dr. Waner, I was filled with hope that he would be able to successfully remove my venous malformation. Everything was going well until after the surgery. I felt there was a leftover mass, which he said could be scar tissue. So, I waited for another year, and the effing thing grew back - not to it's original size. Dr. Waner apologized and apologized, and we decided to do a second surgery. He assured me that they would get everything this time. Once again, post surgery I felt a leftover mass. After waiting the few months of recovery, I went in to see what was happening with this left over mass. No one would give me a straight answer. Dr. Waner stopped answering my emails and my calls, a woman on his staff who was assigned to our case, Danielle, also stopped answering my calls. What a waste of a lot of money - now I still have the venous malformation, and I went through two risky surgeries on my face for nothing, and I don't even get an apology. Don't waste your… money.

Dr. Waner Is a compassionate, caring and outstanding Doctor that has changed the lives of several people in desperate need for a cure, my son included. We will forever be grateful for finding and being able to treat my son's facial hemangioma with such a wonderful Doctor.

A great surgeon and person. Compassionate, talented and skilled. We are very fortunate to have been told about him and the amazing Dr. O. My daughter's ulcerated, bleeding, and painful hemangioma is gone and she's healing beautifully. I highly recommend this man and his team and glad I trusted them with my baby!

Dr. Waner is exceptional! My 6 month old daughter was suffering from an ulcerated hemangioma for some time. I contacted Dr. Waner, he wanted to see my daughter immediately. With in 4 days my daughter had emergency surgery. Her scar is beautiful and there were no complications!!! I recommend Dr. Waner to those who require such treatment. He is superb!!!!

Dr. Waner and all his staff was absolutely amazing. They made us feel so much peace in the midst of a scary time for us. They were all very compassionate and we must admit we miss them all. God knew we were meant to be there! Thanks from our family to yours.

I used to visit Dr. Waner when he practiced in Little Rock. Now, as an adult, I trusted him once again. Unfortunately, to keep a very VERY long story short, I'll summarize. Whether patient volume has created a level of care issue or media coverage, he has become a horrific doctor. While he may be able to perform base level procedures with accuracy, what he did to me what nothing short of malpractice. I had complications after a procedure and after three days of trying to contact the office and PA's, I heard back that I needed to go to the ER. The story goes on for 2 years, multiple surgeries by another doctor to fix what he did and end with receiving a bill for 10's of thousands of dollars when his office said my insurance was under control. What they neglected to mention, after 9 months of fighting my insurance company, was that even though my insurance would now cover the procedure, they don't actually take my insurance. Run, run the other way!

Dr. Wander was nothing short of a God send and saved my daughter from mutalating scars of local surgeons.

The surgery performed was nothing short of a miracle. He billed us well over $60,000 as our portion after insurance paid. His office staff is nothing but very rude unprofessional people.
