Dr. Vikash K. Modi, M.D. demonstrated unprofessional behavior during my visit. He rushed me while I was speaking, interrupted me multiple times, and spoke in a condescending manner. When I inquired about having a test done for my son, he dismissed my concern, stating it was unnecessary without offering a thoughtful explanation. His approach came across as harsh rather than empathetic, and he showed a lack of bedside manner in addressing my concerns.

Dr. Modi performed our young sons tonsil shaving, adenoidectomy and ear tubes insertion surgery. He was 1 of 2 doctors we saw and after our appointment, we felt relieved that he was the right doctor for us. He is direct, confident, smart, has very good diagnostic skills and good judgement. The surgery went better than we ever could have expected and our son had immediate improvements for his symptoms. We are very grateful for Dr. Modi and his excellent reputation held true! P.S. - Dr. Modi performed various procedures on several children we know and they were all just as pleased.

The best doctor we have ever had. Answers all questions, spends time with you and really listens to your concerns. Our daughter is thriving now because of Dr Modi’s care.

From the first visit to Dr. Modi's office to a firm diagnosis of severe sleep apnea and then to a corrective surgery, it took less than 6 months! Efficiency, professionalism, care, kindness are all attributes that suit Dr. Modi and his staff. My daughter can now breathe and sleep better. She has better days because she has better nights. I highly recommend Dr. Modi and the staff at Weill Cornell to anyone who has a child that has troubled nights and especially to any parent of a child with Down syndrome as there is a link between Down syndrome and sleep apnea (Dr. Modi worte a research paper on this subject matter)

Arrogant and condescending. Had no interest in taking the time to listen to my daughter's concerns or to answer our questions.

It was very disappointing to find out that the doctor recommended by your pediatrician misdiagnoses your child. My child had been having runny nose and breathing through his mouth for the last few months. I saw Dr.Modi 3 times and he reassured me that there is no problem with his airway and kids overgrow mouthbreathing by age 4 my son is 22 months old). . When he scoped my child he didn't put any anesthetic and he was very abrupt with my son. I was not satisfied with no solution to an obvious problems and went to get 2nd and 3rd opinions. Both ENT's told me that he has adenoids with 70% blockage and requires a surgical intervention the sooner the better to allow for proper breathing and development of the maxillofacial structures and speech. I can't believe that Dr.Modi didn't see it or what?????

Although I'm an adult patient I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Modi at Cornell's clinic for under-insured patients. He spent a while chatting about my issue, let me talk (i.e., no rush), and seemed like an excellent and compassionate teacher to the residents and med students in tow. Although it's not professional, I can't possibly write a complete review of Dr. Modi without mentioning that the man is strikingly gorgeous... Sorry, Vitals!

Staff is absolutely horrible and should be changed or taught to represent the doctor's needs and preferences. Very difficult to get an appointment - even in an emergency situation.
