Dr Mimi Yoonmi Kang

I have been with Dr. Kang for over 10 years. She is not only has she been the BEST GYN doctor I have come across in my 46 years but she is so very approachable and understanding. Of course, she is professional, knowledgeable, pays attention to the patient and kind as all doctors should be but there is something special to her way and touch. She has performed one surgery, and another coming up next month. She consults with me and discusses all possibilities with the effects so one can make an informed decision. I trust her with my health.

Very efficient and compassionate with a disabled patient

She acted like she was annoyed she even had to attend to me as a patient. Super rushed, very cold, and annoyed I even asked any questions. I felt terrible after leaving the office, as if I was a burden for showing up for my appointment.

Dr. Mimi Kang is truly outstanding! She has incredible knowledge, is efficient, very personable, straight forward, and humorous. I come from a healthcare family and I myself am a healthcare professional, so am very picky about who I will see and know what is actually important when it comes to selecting the right doctor. Despite the general changes to medicine with bigger companies taking over smaller groups, administrative office changes to accommodate take overs, Dr. Mimi Kang, herself, maintains the “old school” excellence in medicine found in increasingly diminishing “boutique” medical practices. You simply cannot go wrong with Dr. Mimi Kang- she’s your “go-to” doctor for anything OB or Gyn related and if you’re smart and level-headed (which pregnancy hormones can often mess with!) you’ll never look back.

Dr. Kang was very cold. No eye contact. Acted like I was an inconvenience to her. There are great doctors in this group. She is my least favorite. She might be a good doctor, but completely unrelatable.

I have never felt ignored by a OB/GYN as this doctor. She was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Does not even bother to look at the patient is busy staring at the papers/charts. When asked a question, she just parrots what one can read on webmd.com. Would be the first doctor to be replaced by a machine/robot.

I have been seeing Dr Kang for about 10 years and she just did surgery on me. She is always friendly, and she is efficient, but when you need her, she is there. I cannot thank her enough for taking such good care of me this year, I will appreciate it always.

Dr. Kang is a wonderful doctor with a great bedside manner. I love Dr. Kang so much that I named my daughter after her.

Dr. Kang is wonderful! She listens to my concerns and she humors my craziness while pregnant. I love her entire practice!

Dr Kang is very thorough, succinct and knowledgeable: a very good obstetrician and one I've observed to be very smart. I see that some other reviewers have described her as distant or cold but not so: she is pleasant, very honest and though she isn't huggy-fuzzy at first glance, she is definitely sincere and has my best interest at heart which is what matters most to me. I certainly recommend her.
