Mina B Farrar

I was a patient of Mina Ferrar at the office of Dr. Jack Scariano. I have Multiple Sclerosis. Her bedside manner is terrible she comes across as very cold. She has zero listening skills about patients symptoms which she dismissed mine with the cold shoulder. MOST of all she told me that she was NOT going to continue to prescribe me pain medication because “people with MS don’t have pain.” They very much do have pain and I was visibly upset crying and trembling at the thought that I was going to suffer even more because I was in terrible pain. She had no empathy whatsoever. This woman needs to be retrained about MS. After that I refused to see her and started to see Dr. Scariano who was smart, and listened to my symptoms and believed that MS does cause pain. Dr. Scariano has retired and I have been waiting for the time to speak out about such an incompetent nurse practitioner as Mina Ferrar. Terrible NP and person in general. I’m glad I will never have to see her again.
