Dr. Mindi Eva Cohen, DO

I have been a patient of Dr. Mindi Cohen for several years and can't say enough good things about her professionalism, personal care, attention, and knowledge of medicine and health in general. I have never had a doctor take as much time as Dr. Cohen does to understand your medical issues and talk through solutions. I would highly recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone.

Dr Cohen has been my doctor for over 25 yrs. She is always upbeat, friendly, and takes her time and listens to the patients. I believe she does take her patients Personality into consideration When prescribing treatment and solutions for any issues no matter how minor it my be. For me , she is the best.

Dr. Cohen is phenomenal. She is extremely knowledgeable, an excellent listener, sensitive to patient needs, and thinks about health holistically rather than just treating one thing. She truly cares and is a rare find amongst doctors. Highly recommend her!

As a new patient during my wellness visit, Dr. Cohen did not provide a physical exam. She did not educate me nor refer me to any cancer screenings (even though I am 46 years old and per the ACS guidelines recommends screening for a number of types of cancers based on my criteria). She never completed a breast exam nor any physical exam other than listening to my heart. Dr. Cohen insisted I have an EKG done in her office (not by a cardiologist) even though I informed her that I had never had any heart issues. The tests were all normal and she had her assistant come to the room to inform me of the normal results. Dr. Cohen never returned to the exam room and I had to locate her assistant and ask if I was done w the visit. I got dressed and informed her assistant I had Glaucoma and asked her for a recommendation to a specialist and was shocked that Dr. Cohen never returned to the room (incomplete wellness visit). I waited for a long period of time in the waiting area for her… assistant to finally provide a sheet of names. The wellness exam was incomplete and would not meet the definition of annual E/M visit as per the AMA CPT and RUC valuation processes. However, I was billed for one as well as the in- office EKG. - Dr. Cohen was incompetent during my single visit as a new patient and should be educated on screening exams and referrals versus focusing on questions regarding where my son goes to school. I have not returned and would not recommend her.

Dr Cohen takes time to answer all my questions she is extremely thorough, kind and knowledgeable. Best doctor ever!!

It took forever to get my results from this office - they never called me personally about anything even when there were problems that should have been followed up on. I had to call them and track down results which usually took weeks. Between that and the long wait times, I will be changing to a practice that has better patient care.
