Dr. Mingwu Wang

Dr. Wang performed DMEK surgery on very short notice after my cornea was damaged from a prior cataract and glaucoma surgery. I was not able to find this experience in Phoenix, and was prepared to travel out of state. I am so thankful for his help. I found him very willing to answer questions, and to spend the time needed to follow up. Other physicians who have examined me since have been very impressed with his surgery. Thank you, Dr. Wang for giving me the gift of sight.

Did not have a good experience with this doctor. In my experience, he behaved disrespectfully towards me by sarcastically laughing at my request, after I made it clear what helped me in the past, and he did not respect my wishes. If this doctor would have respected my request in the first place, I would not have had to go all the way back the next day for him to fix the problem. I will not be going to this doctor again.

Guess he knows his stuff. But developed a tear and detatched retina in eye 8 months after cataracts surgery. Witch has turned into a nightmare!! Dont really think it was from anything he did.

Dr Wang did not even bother to listen to as why other specialists sent me to an an opthamologist. He was rude interrupting every single time my spouse or I tried to explain the concerns of the other specialists. Dr. Wang would just tell us all the specialists were wrong, he was right and that he knew more about everything because he was also internal medicine doctor who was educated in China. No once did he actually look at the pictures my other specialists said I must show him and explain the background of my illness. He barely glimpsed at one photograph and told me everyone else was wrong
