Dr. Minka Latrice Schofield, MD

Went in due to a possible CFL leak in my nasal cavity. As many other reviewers have stated, Dr. Schofield is extremely arrogant, speaks over you, and you don't really get the impression she is listening to what you are saying. Terrible response times from her team when leaving messages for the doctor. This doctor probably should have chosen a different profession - absolutely the worst.

I went to Dr. Schofield for postnasal drip - that's actually a case of terrible gerd that's caused by fibroids pushing my stomach up. This was my second time seeing her. She was very arrogant and looked down at me as if I didn't know my own body. She was a terrible listeners and even talked over me a few times. She made me feel very uncomfortable. "The mucus isn't coming from your nose," she said. What she didn't do was explain where it was coming from. Although she disagreed with me and explained that the mucus was not coming from my nose, she still was willing to go in and surgically widen my airways. I was so upset and in tears at the appointment. I had no confidence in her and went home and did my own research only to discover that she was willing to treat the symptoms and not get to the bottom of my issues. Get a second opinion, it might save your life!

Arrogant and rude. She is clearly a better person than you are, and she's never learned how to hide it. This is something that even her stuff tells her she needs to work on. Vitriol aside, she IS clearly intelligent and competent in her chosen profession.

I have been to Dr. Schofield for two different problems and I was very impressed. She took care of my problems and gave me excellent care. I will return to her if anything else should arise. I highly reccomend her.

Dr. Schofield has been wonderful. She has taken time to explain each procedure she has done, or is going to do, and has given me all the time I need to ask questions. I would recommend her to anyone. It's obvious that she truly cares about her patients and wants the best for them.

I don't feel like she listens to what I have to say and dismisses any opinions I have on my care .

Great Doctor!!! I had a pretty lengthy procedure and she did a great job. I'm very thankful for her work.

I took my mother to see Dr Schofield for some issues related to nasal passage. She was Avery poor listener, did not seem to care. She did not listen or believe patients experience, did not explain her condition to us. She also did not explain the minor procedure she was to perform at all, and was dismissive to our concern. Overall, her attitude was condescending and not caring. I am clinical pharmacist and work with many physicians. I would have say that her bedside manner was very poor, attitude is unfit for a doctor.

Couldn't have found a better ENT! Dr. Schofield is knowledgeable, patient, and empathic. She performed ear surgery on both of our toddlers without incident. I have and will continue to recommend her to those in need of a reliable and confident ENT. Thanks for your excellent care.
