Dr. Mirela Popa, MD

I stuck with Dr.Popa until I turned 18 solely out of convenance but I must say that I deeply regret that decision. Every single time I came into the office for anything other than a check up she questioned me as if I was making things up or she didn't believe me and I always walked away from appointments feeling embarrassed that I had gone in the first place. The last straw for me was when I went in and heard her gossiping about me to a nurse DIRECTLY outside my door. incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional behavior, especially toward a teenager. Highly recommend seeing literally any other doctor at Needham Pediatrics.

Missed many clinical issues. Did not act on parent triggers. Failed to assess newborn and order appropriate tests. End result with new provider rare genetic disorder diagnosed. Multiple missed medical diagnosis and referrals

Dr.Popa's rapport with her patients is like none other. She is willing to spend as much time as needed to make you feel comfortable. You know that each time that you see her you are getting 100%.

Dr. Popa missed a critical medical problem. Every medical professional who has reviewed the medical history presented to them, indicated disbelief that a physician, with her years of experience would miss the diagnosis. Thankfully after seeking medical attentions elsewhere things are moving forward and positively.
