Dr. Miriam Nilda Garcia, MD

Dr. Miriam Garcia has been my primary physician for the past 20 years. I do not have enough words to thank her for the care, professionalism, knowledge, and kindness she always had shown to me and to my family members. She oversaw my chemotherapy treatment last year, helping me understand the entire process and how it worked. She acted as the liaison between all the different teams of doctors, in charge of my treatments (oncology, pulmonology, blood/labs). Thanks to her, I am still here. I highly recommend Dr. Miriam Garcia as anyone’s primary physician. I am extremely lucky to have her on my team.

Dr Garcia is very compassionate and easy going. I find it takes several days to make an appointment, but I haven't had a real "emergency" where I needed to see her sooner. She's responsive to email via the online portal provided by Bay West Medical. I'm still deciding whether or not to use her as my pediatrician or use a specialist (she's a GP). I also love that I don't have to leave my neighborhood to get medical care.

My visit with Dr. Garcia went very well. I did have to wait a bit for an appointment but I don't know of a doctor in San Francisco, CA where that isn't the case. Dr. Garcia has excellent bedside manner and comes across as a intelligent and compassionate person who wanted to help me understand and improve my health. She also had me schedule a follow up appointment to check in and make sure that her treatment of my issue was working.

Dr. no she is a sad excuse for one, Ms. Garcia is a horrible doctor. She isn't kind or welcoming. She is rude and thinks she is better than everyone else.I would not recommend her at all.
