Dr. Miriam Hakim, MD

Refused to follow ER orders, ie, a stat referral. I presented with severe chest and abdominal pain, which I reported as a 10, that prevents me from living a normal life and supporting myself. She refused to prescribe medication and write referrals to any specialist. I returned with a private patient advocate who I retained. The private patient advocate was able to get referrals made and a prescription that has literally saved my life. I would otherwise be homeless and writhing in pain on the streets having been left to the devices of this sociopathic doctor. After my advocate left the appointment, Dr Hakim asked me if people think I'm weird and then said I have "white privilege" I guess for expecting to receive any sort of healthcare ?? Dr Hakim should not be practicing and should be criminally prosecuted.
