When I first met with Dr Kim, I was in excruciating pain. I had a bulging disc in my neck and could not use my right arm due to the numbness and pain. She explained the procedure that she would use to help me, plus the alternatives available to me. I elected to have surgery. After the surgery I knew as soon as I woke up in the recovery area that I was better. The pain in my shoulder and arm was gone. My neck was sore from the surgery but that went away within a week or so. This was almost 5 yrs ago and I have not had any problems with my neck. I am very grateful for Dr Kim and her team. I was recommended to see her by my Doctor in Plymouth. I went she showed me my MRI and said it would be an extensive recovery and since I didn't have issues with walking I'd have to live with it. She did not examine me at all- the total time spent was about 120 seconds..It was hardly worth going to her.

Doctor Kim has done two neck surgeries on me since 2004. She saved me from being a quad on the first and took immediate action on the second disc. I trust her with me and my families lives.

I knew I was with the right doctor when she walked in looking at my MRI films and the first words out of her mouth were "you're in a lot of pain". I had an anterior diskectomy with fusion and she was able to schedule surgery a week later. I am very happy with the result.
