I was diagnosed with a Prostatic Adenocarcinoma. Gleason 9. My doctor in Annapolis told me there was only one doctor to do the procedure I needed. He said whether you're the president, a rockstar, or a professional athlete this is who you see. God has blessed him with a unique set of skills that allows him to perform minimally invasive radical prostatectomy with 100% nerve preservation. Can't put into words the love, gratitude, and appreciation I have for Dr. Han and his team. It's wonderful we have people like him and the Johns Hopkins staff that make a huge difference every day. From the moment my wife and I walked in on the day of surgery until the moment we were taken to the car everything was first right.  Johns Hopkins the premier hospital in the world. I had full sexual function the day they removed the catheter. Someone, I thought that would take months happened the same day.

The encounter with this doctor was terrible and distressing. Seemed unable to communicate with humans. Traumatized by this doctor.

Dr Han performed and invasive procedure. He explained what he was doing and shared images along the way. I felt very comfortable in his hands and recommend him highly.

When meeting Dr Han you get the immediate impression that you are meeting an expert in his field. He is so knowledgeable and confident that he puts you at ease straight away. After the examinations, Dr Han laid out the various options - everything from doing nothing, to a biopsy first and then surgery or straight into surgery. He let me know the reasoning behind each choice and finally gave me advice which path to take. The procedure was very well described by Dr Han, so there were no surprise. The surgery and follow up visit went very smoothly. I would highly recommend Dr Han.

Was puzzled by my experience after reading all the glowing reviews. Rather abrupt in interpersonal communication. If you are fortunate to have him speaking to you, donâ??t expect to hear something warm and encouraging like â??we will get through thisâ?? or something along those lines. He will be doing the talking and it will be short and quantitative. Appears annoyed if you have questions or want to discuss the situation a little. Rigid in manner and with his time.

Dr Han is simply the best doctor I have ever encountered. He takes his time, gives you all the information you need. Answers any questions honestly and thoroughly. Not only is he highly trained and skilled - He is the most compassionate doctor and is easy to reach - you can tell he really cares. His staff is almost as amazing as he is. Stage t2, cancer free 3 years. The care Dr Han and JH provides is beyond what you would expect. Highly recommend.

Dr. Han is the most compassionate and caring doctor I've ever had. He listened not just to me but my whole families concerns. He is very thorough explaining answers and makes sure that you understand him. If you have a question after you leave the office, you can email him directly and he ususally responds within an hour, unlike waiting days or weeks from other doctors. If you have prostate cancer, he is the very best and most knowledgeable doctor around.

Very thorough, answers EVERY question, very knowledeable, best bedside manner, really cares. Surgery and recovery went amazingly well because of his skill. Undoubtedly one of the best! Highly recommend.

had a gleason 8 , lots of tumor Dr. Han did everything my first doctor said could not be done, I have been cancer free for 15 mos

It's been 1 year since my Radical Prostatomy performed by Dr.Han.He is a very skilled surgeon who takes the time to explain every step of the procedure from the first consultation thru the surgery to the recovery.I highly recommend him and his staff to anyone who is in need of his professional skills.
