Dr. Mistie P Mills, MD

Dr. Mills is passionate about her patients and diligent about her work. We have a 40+ yr. Old Down syndrome daughter that had a fibroid the size of an orange on her uterus. We requested from our doctor to go to missouri university hospital and Dr. Mills was the Dr./surgeon we spoke to. My husband and I spoke to Dr. Mills for about 45 minutes we knew going in the fibroid had to come out along with the uterus and it was a 3 hour surgery. She explained to us what our Dr. said then turned to our daughter who wasn’t paying attention to explain to her. Dr Mills asked her questions about what her thoughts were about the surgery. I loved that about Dr. Mills! I loved it because I always said I’d cut my arms off to have a conversation with my daughter and Dr. Mills was going the extra mile to make sure she understood. Dr. Mills is passionate about her patients and is a compassionate human being that wants to make sure her patients will be helped. When surgery was over Dr. Mills came out to… update us on our daughter and told us she was doing very well. In my opinion Dr. Mills is a wonderful Dr. and she has the skills to match. Her staff was equally knowledgeable and friendly in the office and the hospital.

Mistie is always happy and professional when coming into the room she has smile that lights up the room. Very compassionate and helps to ensure pregnancy goes as smooth as possible. My sister and I have enjoyed her being our pregnancy go-to!

I love Dr. Mills. She spends time with me talking about my concerns and answering questions and I feel like she truly cares about how I am doing.

She is great with making the patient feel heard and I would suggest her to my friends and family

Proceeded with endometrial biopsy before examining me. Refused to order antibiotics for me, with 2 hip replacements. Ordered additional procedures prior to results of first procedure.
