Misty Irene Dickerson, DO

My partner began seeing Dr. Dickerson for general needs and she seemed caring and competent. But everything went downhill after her endometriosis diagnosis. Dr. Dickerson did ablation surgery, after which her condition got far worse. We then learned ablation is a sub-optimal treatment for endo, the gold standard is excision. We returned to discuss my partner's worsening condition and to ask about excision. Dr. Dickerson not only dismissed the idea outright, she seemed offended. It was an instant 180. She was condescending, dismissive, and callous. When my partner broke down in tears she suggested medical menopause and hurried out of the room. Since then we found a better doctor, and post excision surgery she is quickly on the road to recovery. Dr. Dickerson seems fine for basic OB needs. However when her fix didn't immediately remedy a more complicated situation and we tried to take an active role in my partner's healthcare, her attitude turned on a dime. We will not be returning.

I have been going to Dr Dickerson for a few years and I think she is a great doctor. I am usually one of the only non- pregnant patients when I am there but she never rushes me or makes me feel like I’m not important.

Dr. Dickerson is amazing! She listens to your concerns and does not rush you, has an excellent bedside manner and is super kind. She performed my surgery and I had zero issues with the surgery or after. I feel very lucky to have found her. I highly recommend her she is the best!

Dr. Dickerson is great! She’s so kind and took the time to answer all of my questions as well as discuss treatment and test options with me without “forcing” me in any one direction. Her staff was friendly. Definitely recommend her.

Dr. Dickerson is a great doctor! She takes her time in the room and actually listens to all of your concerns. I highly recommend her! Not only is she friendly the staff is wonderful as well!

Dr. Misty Dickerson is wonderful. She is a great listener, and she will spend all the time with you that you need. She educates you and makes you feel very comfortable. I would recommend her to my family and friends. The staff is amazing too.

Honestly the rudest, most unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. Will get angry if you cry. No patience, no bedside manner, no sympathy at all. You will feel rushed and forced to make decisions without adequate testing done beforehand. Easy to get into because nobody wants to go here!!
