Dr. Banks is my child’s controlled substance drug dealer. He will ruin your child and your family.

Very Rude and dismissive Doctor!!He is grossly overweight and not responsible enough to be a psychiatrist he will give you any medication you need he’s just in it for the money doesn’t spend any time with the patient I should’ve read the other bad reviews on Google before we saw him won time!

This guy has been investigated for patient misconduct he’s very rude so is the receptionist and there are very long wait times in the office this guy should not be practicing!??

This guy Mitchell Banks is the most irresponsible doctor I’ve ever met not only will he recklessly prescribe you psych medicines in high doses but you will be in and out of his office in five minutes and the receptionist is very rude I think it’s his wife and you will wait for like at least 30 minutes in his waiting room avoid at all cost!??

This doctor is just an idiot you’ll be in and out of this office in five minutes he’ll write you any prescription you want not careing about what you really need he should be unlicensed in my opinion

This doctor started out fine. He was pleasant, though professionally distant. He selected a medication to deal with my GAD and for almost 10 years I saw him once a year, we chatted, he agreed to renew the medication and off I went. Then one day, his receptionist went off the deep end. She lied to me, became rude and obstreperous and thereafter they never took my calls or called me back. Even if I was "cranky" with her... hey this is a shrink's office. Patients are gonna be odd sometimes. I have been tempted to report Dr. Banks to the State Ed Dept on Professional Conduct ... patient abandonment is a major no-no. But, I have better things to do and there are better docs to see.

The best we’ve found. Very smart, experienced psychiatrist. Highly recommend. Takes time with his patients, well informed & up to date on cutting edge meds. Excellent.

Dr. Banks was very caring, very thorough in his examination and diagnosis. He explained how he concluded diagnosis, he explained medication treatment , how and what to expect, including side effects. How it takes time to get medication correct. he was the same with follow up visits. He made me feel better about what was happening, he really cared.

I brought my son to him because he was suffering from depression. Dr. Banks was the only one who seemed to help him. I went thru quite a few doctors with Dr Banks being the only one who gained his trust, If it wasn't for him I don't know where I would have gone for help.

Dr. Mitchell Banks of Farmingdale is the worst.
