Dr. Mitchell Kalani Pratte, DO

OCT 31, 2020 ER Visited the North Orem IHC emergency department. Attending position, Dr. Mitchell Pratt, was extremely rude and condescending. Questioned why we brought the issue of a locked up or dislocated knee to the ER before he even examining. He said this was a chronic issue and not an emergent tissue. Asked why we didn’t go to a doctor earlier today. He seemed more upset about my wife being there at all. He was very disrespectful and rude. Very condescending and dismissive. Said we should follow up with our primary care position on Monday for the knee. This man was very arrogant and his demeanor very unpleasant. I explained to the doctor that I had to carry her to the restroom because she couldn’t walk on it. Also that she felt the sensation to dislocate and relocate her knee earlier today. Dr. Pratte’s continued condescending and demeaning behavior reflects poorly upon himself and the IHC Emergency Department he currently serves at.
