Dr. Mitchell B Sheinkop, MD

I was fortunate to have found Dr. Sheinkop. I had bilateral hip replacements in 2008 and he continues to be my doctor. He is an excellent doctor and treats me with the utmost respect. He has always kept my best interest in mind.

Dr. Sheinkop is an excellent doctor. He has his patients best interest in mind in all his medical decisions. He is a very kind and always take the time to listen to his patient.

I've know Dr Sheinkop for over 35 years. He's a lovely man and a great physician. The only reason I stopped going to him was office distance. I have been to other physians with no satisfaction with my arthritis or knee issues. Went to see Dr Sheinkop, received an injection in knee, and a very thorough examination. Was given clear explanation of my situation, regarding P.T. and care instructions. Should never have gone to other physicians. His staff is very professional and down to earth. I world recommend Dr Sheinkop to all my friends and family without reservation.

My mother had hip replacement done by Sheinkop in 2008. She acquired a limp from that surgery. Fast forward 10 years when she’s experiencing severe hip pain. New orthopedist does x-ray and tells her that the prosthetic isn’t attached nor was it ever to hip bone and is not secured in femur. New doc takes out Sheinkop’s old prosthetic and puts on new. Mom no longer limps nor has pain! Would not trust Sheinkop to do surgery on anyone I know. Mom lost 10 good years of her life limping around.

I had knee replacement surgery about 10 years ago. Within the first year I was having a lot of pain in my knee. Dr. Sheinkop said nothing was wrong.He insulted me. I found out from another dr. that the replacement had rotated 90 degrees and had to be totally redone. I would never go back to Dr. Sheinkop and would not recommend him to anyone.

Not only was the Doctor over 1 hour late for my paid consultation... he spent maybe 7 minutes with me. There was a failure to follow thru by his staff even after 3 weeks. His reviews are not getting better. Try someone else.

Having know Mitchell for many, many years, I can't say enough good things about him and his staff, either at his current location or at MOR. He is a thoroughly decent, honest man who really does care about 'his' patients, and he truly wants the best for each and every one, regardless of who he/she is.

Since he retired from 38 years performing joint replacement surgeries, Dr. Sheinkop has dedicated himself to regenerative medicine involving stem cells and platelet rich plasma (PRP). I am a 70-year old with kneed arthritis who has benefited miraculously from his efforts. He is on top of a world of research and a true pioneer. He is the most responsive doctor I've ever had, and I can't recommend him highly enough.
