Responsiveness and caring has only gotten worse over the past few years. It’s almost impossible to get his attention. And it permeates across his staff. Multiple calls to his office to get routine prescriptions refilled. And now he’s supposedly moving to “concierge medicine,” which means we are supposed to pay him a monthly fee even if we don’t see him, just to have the “privilege” of possibly getting an appointment with him. In my years of seeing him, he has never responded to my messages through true Baptist patient portal. This can’t be what high quality healthcare is supposed to look like.

He’s always been nice, listens, caring, always is trying to help, he never makes me wait long, and he doesn’t make me feel like I don’t know what I’m talking about. He’s my favorite Family doctor and I have had a few because of moving. Staff is really nice and the office is always clean.

Horrible people skills Dr. Whitehead ! I've been a patient of another doctor in the office for almost 10 years and never had anything bad to say before. Called tonight because I'm having an issue with a blood pressure medication and he's on call. And WOW did he make it sound like calling me was an inconvenience. Talked to me like i was an idiot, meanwhile I'm a cardiac technician. Total waist of time. So pregnant lady calls the on call service with blood pressure medication issues and you've got better things to do with those 6 or 7 figures you make a year smh Dr. Whitehead smh.

Dr. Whitehead not only treats primary care patients, but he also has been helping with promoting HIV PrEP and taking care of the HIV positive population. What a great human being and provider!

My first impression was good. We referred many people to him. The problem was his staff that led to many other issues. Dr whitehead has seen me and my family years and would not make a curtousey call back to me. Never seen anything like this. Very disappointed
