Dr. Mitzi Carol Brock, MD

I have seen Dr. Brock at SRB OBGYN for a long while as I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. She has delivered all 3 of my children and I absolutely adore her. Highly recommend her. ??

Dr. Brock is simply the best. I have been seeing her for 17 years and she delivered my 2 perfect babies. She is attentive, smart, kind, and has amazing bedside manner. I am amazed at the things she remembers between appointments! She made me feel comfortable and safe in some of the scariest moments of my life. She takes time and thoroughly answers all questions (no matter how silly). I trust her with my life and suggest you do, too!

Dr. Brock is an amazing doctor. I have been going to her for 13 years.

I felt humiliated and disrespected yesterday and refuse to return to Dr. Brock. One hour past my appointment time, I was taken back for my procedure and sedated. After my procedure, they told me to get dressed and they “want to see (me) in 4 weeks.” No follow-up instructions, no one made sure I was OK, nor walked me out to the lobby. Everyone just left the room! I stumbled to the checkout area and sat in a chair—less than a foot from checkout. In so much pain, I called for help from the lady behind the counter “I’m going to pass out.” First, they made me schedule my follow-up appointment. I said “I am in so much pain here is my outlook calendar” and they put the appt. in my phone. I was sobbing. They gave me pop, snacks, and a cold towel. At one point, Dr. Brock walked by and I told her I was in a lot of pain. She said, “That’s because you got up too quick,” and kept walking. A nurse finally offered me a shot for pain. After 30 minutes of waiting and asking for an ETA, we left.

Went here for a hormone test new in area I wanted to get my bio identical hormones filled which they told me they did at that office. Went there they don’t have bio identical hormones after telling me they did. The doctor told me I was more or less on snake oil and mentioned it 5 to 6 times. So I got a hormone test and a thyroid test. I also got copies of the test. So they call me back after 2 1/2 weeks and tell me that I virtually have no Hormones in my system. I get the test out and I say according to the hormone test that I took it says I am within range to the high side of all hormones. Well I’ll have to ask the doctor. Call me back and say you’re getting too much hormones because of the preludet you’re taking for progesterone. I explain this is not for progesterone this is a cholesterol medicine. Oh well have to call you back. Call me back and say OK it’s cholesterol medicine. Will need to check your cholesterol. Tell them I submitted a test that I’ve been done within the last… few months. Oh will have to call you back. Call me back tell me my cholesterol is fine but they don’t know what to do. I was so very disappointed. Then told me maybe I should get a check up from my heart doctor. And that they could felt like they couldn’t go forward with helping me with the hormones which they didn’t even have even after they told me they did. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this doctor it was a terrible experience and it isn’t about the money it’s about how incompetent and what they were saying and doing was.

I haven’t seen Dr. Brock since 2008 when I was pregnant with my one and only daughter. I have been seeing a specialist since I was 15 years old and struggled with endometriosis and PCOS. Dr. Brock has been one of the biggest strengths and has helped me with these issues for many years. Not only does she have wonderful bedside manner but her staff is exceptional. I strongly recommend Dr. Brock.

Dr. Brock is a phenomenal obgyn. I have been seeing her for 6 years now and I also work in the medical field. The wait times can be long but it is worth it for excellent care. She is extremely caring, friendly, down to earth, intelligent and meticulous. She spends extra quality time if needed for emotional support or to answer questions. She is easy to talk to and always makes you feel comfortable, in what is often considered a somewhat uncomfortable setting. She was great in helping us with our fertility issues, referring when necessary and throughout my pregnancy/delivery. Recommend her to everyone one we know.

I have been going to Mitzi Brock for several years. I love the staff and Dr. Brock. Everyone is very professional and takes the time to answer all my questions.

If you are considering a hysterectomy, consult with several physicians to choose one that has the most experience and can best handle complications should they arise. Dr. Brock performed a hysterectomy on me four years ago, and I have been bleeding ever since. Obviously something went wrong. Before the hysterectomy, I thought highly of her based on her personality. Now I know personality means nothing in the operating room. Numerous physicians later, I have no answers, and no fix. Botched job perhaps? It should have been a simple hysterectomy, but for some reason became complicated. After the hysterectomy, I followed up for the continued bleeding. Silver nitrite did nothing to stop the bleeding. I honestly remember feeling as though she knew something went wrong, but was hoping that I didn't return. For someone who did not have an OB, I would have assumed that since she did a hysterectomy on me, I would continue seeing her on an annual basis. When I asked her if I should schedule a… yearly follow-up, and she mentioned I didn't need to see her again...that should have been my first clue that she didn't want to see me again full well knowing that something had gone wrong. When other complications arose, she happened to be on vacation when I was hoping to see her. I tried to see, and consult with any other doctor in her office that could see me. I was totally dismissed by the nursing and office staff. They were less than accommodating and downright rude. Without any other options, I ended up going to the hospital emergency room. Do I recommend Dr. Brock? No, I sadly do not.

Dr Brock is so very down to earth and makes me feel very comfortable
