Summary
My interest for medicine began during my time as a Peace Corps volunteer. I began to see how essential it is to understand an individuals context, culture, language and system of beliefs before suggesting how to care for ones health. I find listening to be the most important skill a doctor can provide her patients. I strive to provide comprehensive primary care to all. I have an interest in womens health and immigrant health, especially adolescent health. In my spare time, I enjoy being outside and spending time with my family.
