Dr. Mohammad S Alsorogi, MD

I was complaining to Dr Alsorogi for two years that I was losing my vision in my left eye,having short term memory loss, numbness in my feet, hands, face, Ieg & arm all on the leg side .He said that I was making it up and that I was a hypochondriac... He hospitalized me a couple times& put me in physical therapy & occupational therapy because I lost my mobility skills & said I made my brain do that because I have Munchausen syndrome... I'm went to a Neurologist at the Cleveland Clinic I have Demyelinating & Multiple Sclerosis...

So thankful for my referral to him. Great Neurologist. He listens which is so important in one’s care, particularly MS, when there is many symptoms.

Current patient can not get urgent appointment easily (3 month wait). Doctor does not return staff's calls regarding patient within 24 hours. If doctor is on call 24/7 at hospital (meaning practically living at hospital), the practice does not allow another associate in practice to see patient. At this practice the patient is at the mercy of the staff and doctor. Norton Hospital has their statement "patients are top priority", not true.

I seen Dr Alsorogi for sleep apnea & a follow up after my sleep study. I was set up with a cpap machine through a medical equipment store that I was having issues with & Dr. Al was able to get everything straightened out for me that day. I feel like he really listened to what I was saying and I didn't feel rushed during my visit. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family. His staff is also very friendly. I visited the location on Norton Healthcare Blvd.

I had seen Dr. Alsorogi for a second opinion as I had already been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I was told by Dr. Alsorogi that I did not have MS as my lesions had "disappeared". That my MS was gone. This is absolutely not possible. He told me that I had fibromyalgia which I had already known for many years. When I tried to talk to him, he was argumentative and not listen. He had no concern of my symptoms. He will order a lot of tests (some that are old school) and you will wait at least half an hour in the waiting room out from and than again once they take you to the examining room. He is difficult to understand due to language barriers. I decided not to go back as he lost my medical records, argued with me and gave me a ridiculous diagnosis. I would absolutely not refer anyone to this physician.

Dr. Alsorogi listened to everything I had to say, made an accurate diagnosis, and sent me for tests that found an underlying condition (thyroid cancer). Were it not for Dr. Alsorogi listening to me, and ordering tests to rule out anything he may have missed in his diagnosis, I would not be getting treatment for the cancer that was found. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr. Alsorogi!

Accurate diagnosis but was nearly made fun of and patronized on a regular basis. His office lost some of my records. Was not made aware of side effects of medications he prescribed.

I was very pleased with Dr. Alsorogi. He was very prompt. He came in and introduced himself and he let me describe all of my medical history and problems in detail. He never interrupted me and let me finish completely. He then asked me some questions and followed them up with a neurological exam. After that, he AGAIN sat down and talked to me about me condition. I never felt rushed and I thought his bedside manner was wonderful!I am very thankful that my family doctor referred me to him!!

Dr. Alsorogi is currently treating me for a couple issues. He was accurate in diagnosing me with one of my issues - however, is unable to diagnose the second. He spends lots of time with me and seems very caring and does listen. So far I am pleased, but I will not have patience much longer - I need a diagnosis, but then again, no one else has been able to diagnose me either!
