I would have given an overall rating of zero stars, but it wouldn't let me. I chose this doctor because I have multiple sclerosis and the neurologist that I was seeing at the time shared offices with him. I waited at least 20 minutes every time I went in to see him and he never knew why I was there (even when he told me to come). I needed a prior authorization for medication in 2013 and he told me that I had to come in before he gave it - which I did and they did nothing except take my vitals. I told them that they are not taking blood. Fast forward 5 months. I changed insurance and needed a prior authorization again for my MS medication (which I showed up to receive only to be told this and then leave). I ended up arguing with him on the phone because he wanted me to come in again (even though I kept reminding him that he put this through so I could receive the medication in December) and that he needs to see me every time there is a medication change or insurance change. … When I kept refusing, he was telling me that my neuro should give the prior authorization since he is the prescriber (not true) and then finished the conversation with "PCP's are not here just to give pre authorizations. If you don't like it, you can change PCPs" How unprofessional!!!!! He better believe I will be changing doctors.
