Dr.Diab was 100% certain our 12 year old daughter required PAO surgery on her hip. So certain he did not feel we should get additional opinions as he claimed he was the best and most experienced. Given he is one doctor and it was major surgery on a 12 year old we went and sought out advice from other pediatric orthopedic surgeons at UCSF, Stanford and Radys Children's Hospital. The other Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeons were amazed that he could have grossly misdiagnosed a hip with tendinitis and not FAI. He was ready ton operate on a perfectly healthy 12 year old girl! The emotional distress Dr.Diab caused in our family and in particular our daughter was indescribable. I am happy to report she has had physiotherapy to treat her tendinitis and is back enjoying an active life.

our 7 year old daughter fell from a high bar and broke her left arm in 2 places, one above and one below the elbow. dr diab dealt with this highly complex operation and situation with equal amounts compassion, skill, and professionalism. i cannot recommend him and his team any higher. i would trust his judgment and his ability in a heartbeat.

Wonderful, caring, and thoughtful. He spends as much time as we need, but also is good at cutting out all distractions to get to the essential issues.
