As the wife of his patient, I was not treated respectfully by Dr. K. In fact, he spoke to me in a condescending manner which made me uncomfortable and angry. I was not allowed to talk to the doctor without my husband being present which made it difficult to share concerns that I, and other family members and friends, see daily. For instance when I asked could hearing loss contribute to dementia, Dr. K responded that husbands practice "selective hearing." I had asked that I be called back once my husband completed the drivability test so that I could also hear what the doctor had to say. This did not happen. My husband came out to the waiting room and told me that Dr. K had released him and that all was fine. He only had "forgetfulness" appropriate for his age (81). Prior to this visit Dr. K had told us both that my husband had "mild dementia." What changed? I then asked that I be able to speak with the doctor to get the results of all the testing (EEG, bloodwork, and MRI) that had been… shared without my presence. We were both called back to a room and that is when Dr. K reacted to me as he did. He seemed to not understand why I would want/need the information. I never was given the results of those tests. I do not recommend Dr. K as he does not communicate well with caregivers who are vital to his patients well being.

Horrible doctor, was upset and rude from the second he walked in the room. Was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. He repeatedly questioned me as to why I was there to see him why he didn’t have any of my medical records which his office was supposed to request. I told him he was acting like a jerk after acting so rude and walked out. He followed me and tried to say that I threatened him which never happened in any way. He is a very dishonest and rude individual who I would not trust with anything, especially my health. Even the office manager apologized to me and gave me the contact info to make a complaint against him. Beware.
