Dr. Mohammad Sabur Nasiri, MD

My main complaint was that the place was disgusting. Staff and doctor were rude.

I had no idea what I was in for when making my appointment to see Dr. Nasiri. I met him in the hospital, and he seemed like a caring and knowledgeable doctor. Actually, my problems are not with him, but with his staff and his facility. First of all, the building is disgusting. There are bars on the windows and the doors. It was filthy when I walked inside. The only thing separating sick and well patients was a tiny wall. It was so nasty in there I almost started to cry, but knew my baby had to be seen. We waited with our five day old baby for OVER an hour. At least it gave me time to go outside and make my 1 month appointment with a different office. The nurse we had called my baby by my husband's name, and we corrected her, telling her the baby was a girl. She seemed confused. She seemed confused the entire time she weighed her, measured her, etc. She did not even measure her head circumference. Before we left, she handed us a folder...with my husband's name on it. I said "This says… my husband's name", and she looked at me as if I was stupid. I had to explain that no, my baby is a girl, you need to change the name on the file. It took a good five minutes for her to get it. My baby was told to get tested for jaundice, and to call the next day. I had to call FOUR times before I was finally put in touch with the doctor. The receptionist was EXTREMELY rude. I honestly think she never even gave him the messages, she made me feel like I was a total inconvenience for wanting the test results for my five day old baby. I feel lucky that there are other offices that take my insurance, but I feel sorry for those on Medicare who have to go to this place. It really is unfair that babies have to been seen at places this dirty and uncaring.
