Dr. El Mallah understands the sensitivity of the specialty and is respectful and kind with his patients. Very good doctor.

Dr. El Mallah is the BEST Doctor in the world. He delivered both of my babies and he was amazing. I felt like I was in trusted hands the whole time. He made me feel safe and comfortable when delivering. AMAZING DOCTOR!!!! Rare to find someone who genuinely cares about his patients in my experience at least.

I only saw Dr. El-Mallah once during my prenatal doctor visits and I did not like him. From then on, I made sure I requested appointments with my regular 2 OB's. I think it was my hormones because it turned out he was doctor on call for my delivery (I did not put this together until my postpartum visit and saw his name on my history from the dreaded appointment when I left so upset). I could not have asked for a better doctor. I had a rough experience and Dr. El-Mallah was so calming, reassuring, caring of what I wanted and explained everything. He even came to check on me a few days later in recovery. I laugh now at how I didn't like him at first and he ended up being the doctor to deliver my beautiful, healthy baby girl. He did my c-section and my scar headled beautifully. Thank you, doctor!

I went to Dr El Mallah for my initial prenatal visit. After waiting for an hour and a half I finally got to see the Dr. He did not introduce myself and told me that he needed to test me for STDS. He quickly did the test, and asked me about prior pregnancies. I told him that i had a son who had weighed 5 lbs 13 oz at birth. He then mumbled that i need to take a baby aspirin daily. As a nurse i know this is completely abnormal, so i asked why. He said pre-eclampsia can lead to smaller babies and aspirin can help this. I told him that i had no blood pressure issues with my son, and that my mother also had smaller babies. He shrugged, and said take baby aspirin. He didnt obtain a history (so he completely guessed as to why my son was small), did not ask if i was taking prenatal vitamins, and NEVER CONFIRMED THAT I WAS PREGNANT! I even asked him, and he said "well i assume that is why you are here." He told me i needed to have an ultrasound to ensure that the fetus was viable and then… ended the appointment. He asked if i had any questions, and i said i am concerned about the baby aspirin, and he said that in Europe this is more of a concern that it is here and then left. How is that even an answer!!! We just moved to the area and now have to figure out who to switch to. This appointment was so bad, I would not have believed it if i had not been the one to experience it. AVOID at all costs!

I have met only three Gynecologists so far but Dr. El-Mallah is the best I would say. Very caring, supportive. Understands the emotion of the patient and reacts accordingly. I would recommend this doctor for sure. Wish you Good Luck!

He was the doctor on call the day I delivered my baby at Bryn Mawr. He was very rude and arrogant. My husband and I were clueless as to what this man was doing. My baby was bruised thanks to him.

I had my beautiful baby girl three weeks ago and the attending doctor was EL-Mallah,the most caring and exquisite doctor i have ever met.

My wife and I are expecting our first child and we met with Dr. El-Mallah for our initial prenatal visit. I am not certain if this is rare, but I accompanied my wife into the observation room to participate in the visit. This seemed to irritate Dr. El-Mallah as he made a sarcastic comment about my presence. The visit proceeded nicely and Dr. El-Mallah exhibited a pleasant "bedside manner." At the "end" of the visit, Dr. El-Mallah began to leave the observation room before we could ask questions, but we drew him back and made our inquiries. This, I think, irritated Dr. El-Mallah and his mood changed during this period. He exhibited a passive-aggressive and condescending manner when my wife and I expressed our desire for a "natural" birthing process (sans: pitocin, epidural anesthesia, etc.). He said to my wife, "You will need pitocin to regulate your contractions since this is your first birth and your uterus is not prepared for birth." He also said, "You must understand that you will… need treatment for the pain because it will be so severe. I cannot have you kicking me." He seemed to acquiesce when I asked if he could direct us to another doctor who shared our philosophy, he stated: "I can do 'natural,' that is fine." My wife and I will be looking for another doctor. Our experience with Dr. El-Mallah was disheartening and soured what should have been a very sweet experience.

Dr. El-Mallah is the most caring, compassionate and kind doctor I have ever been to. I believe that all doctors should have to train with him to learn his bedside manner. He goes above and beyond his duties. I highly recommend him!
