Dr. Mohan Penmetcha, MD

I drove an hour and a half to get to this doctor!!! And I must say it was worth it!!! Dr. Penmetcha read my file and was ready to delve even further with questions to figure out what was going on!!! After a long time I felt a doctor who really cared to take time to ask about my medical history and help me reach a diagnosis of my condition!!

I have been going to Dr Pennmetcha for over 6 years and have found him to be an excellent care giver in every way. I feel fortunate that I was referred to him. My RA is under control now because of his care.

Dr. Penmetcha is a fine man, but the performance of his overall practice is terrible. Quite often you can call during normal business hours, and no one answers. The pharmacy sends my requests for refills, and they rarely receive a reply. I have to get on the phone with the doctor's office to get anything done, and like I say, talking to anyone at the office is hit and miss. When I address the issue with the Dr. he calls the nurses into the exam room and an argument ensues.

Dr. Penmetcha is one of the most courteous doctors I have ever been to. He is patient & answers my questions. He is one of the only doctors in the Dallas area that is knowledgeable about my autoimmune disease, scleroderma. So glad I found him.

Excellent doctor and staff! Dr. Penmetcha is a very good doctor. He was the first doctor I saw for my arthritis and he has helped me to manage it from getting worse. Velma is also great. I traveled from Houston just to keep him as my doctor! I recommend him highly

I came in to see Dr. Penmetcha for a diagnosis. I was so pleased and impressed with both, Dr. Penmetcha and his office staff! I had read some reviews prior to my visit. Now that I've gone to see Dr. Penmetcha, I can easily and clearly see that any negative review, had nothing to do with the doctor nor the staff. They are nothing but professional and extremely kind!! For the starters, the receptionist is nice and only had me fill out two pages of paperwork. They do not get you to fill out 10 pages plus of paperwork, like most medical offices, due to laziness or just too busy for the patient. Dr. Penmetcha does the questioning in the examine room and fills in the paperwork for you. His nurse is very friendly, helpful and sweet. Dr. Penmetcha is very knowledgeable and has helped me to better understand what Fibromyalgia is and the options available. He took the time to examine me very carefully and thoroughly, and had his nurse take some blood work to rule out any other issues. Dr.… Penmetcha spends a lot of time to listen to you and then recommends/suggest the medical plan/path to better help you. This amazingly honest doctor, even asked me how I felt about medicine, and if I thought it was the route I wanted to go. Not many doctors do not even care what we think and/or respect our decisions regarding medicine. I am so in awe with Dr. Penmetcha and his staff! I will continue to see him throughout my health issue. Dr. Penmetcha has been heavenly sent and gives you the feeling of an 'Old Fashion' Doctor and Patient relationship!! Never did I feel like I was just a number or a bother. He has gone above and far beyond by personally calling me twice, to give me my lab results!! Dr. Penmetcha is genuinely a caring, attentive doctor who demonstrates that he is in this profession for the right reasons!! I strongly suggest that you go see him for yourself, before reading any more reviews. I'm so glad that I did, because I would have missed out on the old fashion medical care and bedside manner!! You just don't hear of that anymore.

Absolutely horrible doctor. I have been seeing him for over 2 years now and i had enough!!! Does not help with your questions, gives you horrible answers. I was having problems with my foot because i have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I asked if he wanted to exam it and said no he didnt need to see it. Didn't give me any pain medication, no inflammation medicine. NOTHING!!! Does not care about giving you results of blood work to know where you stand. I will never go back and never recommend him!!! WARNING DO NOT GOO!! Just wants you out of his office fast!
