Dr. Bucay studied medicine in Mexico City, Mexico, at Universidad Nacional AutÃ³noma (UNAM). He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals in Houston, Texas. After practicing cardiology in Mexico City for 11 years, he joined Cardiology Clinic of San Antonio in 1999. Dr. Bucay belongs to the American Medical Association and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiologists. He is board certified in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology. â€œWe have a duty to care for patients in a professional and compassionate way. I like to listen and educate. Dr. Bucay is personable & very easy-going. At the same time, professional in explaining what is going on with you medically. He makes sure you understand your situation while injecting a little light-hearted humor. I recommend him to anyone.

Dr.Moises Bucay was thorough and personable. He was very helpful in giving information but more important listening to me, answering my questions, and evaluating my current health and wellness. Dr.Moises Bucay is very knowledgeable, professional and an excellent Cardiologist physician.

I would highly recommend Dr. Bucay. He is not only my Dr. he is also my husbands and an excellent Dr. He is the only one to convince me to quit smoking.

Dr. Bucay has a deep understanding of the patient, the patient's health and lifestyle goals, and the impact an ever-changing heart condition has on the patient's lifestyle and life. He explains medical events in easy to understand terms and has taught us so much about cardio functions and malfunctions. His staff is very supportive and communicative.

Dr. Bucay has been seeing me for over 10 years, and has always treated me with sincere concern. For example taking the time to ask me questions and really listen to me. He explains procedures, test results, and takes time with me during my office visits. He never makes me feel rushed. Dr. Bucay's office staff follow his lead in patient treatment. I am very happy to be taken care of by such an excellent physician.
