Dr. Moiz Abbas Tajkhanji, MD

My experience with Dr. Moiz Abbas Tajkhanji was extremely disappointing. He came across as a know-it-all, dismissing my questions and concerns as if they were irrelevant. There was no room for dialogue — he just wanted to talk and be right. He gave me a diagnosis that didn’t make sense, so I went to see another doctor for a second opinion. The new doctor completely disagreed with his findings, which really made me doubt Dr. Tajkhanji’s credibility. To make matters worse, I noticed him treating the clinic staff poorly, speaking to them in a very condescending tone. That’s unacceptable in any setting, especially healthcare. I wouldn’t recommend him at all.

I respect Dr Taj however ,I haven't been seen by him in a long time instead by the NP's and Stephanie is the worse I've even been seen by ...she told me "I ask the questions" "I'm not here for questions" I might have to find another provider

Dr Taj takes the time and effort to actually find out what is ailing his patients rather than just doling out meds and prescriptions. He also "tough loves" you to get you to be a true partner in your healthcare. Not for everyone but I have seen amazing results!

i Should Fire this Doctor. He doesn't respect my time. i never ever revised my blood test results . i feel like this ,Doctor, doctor I keep thinking I'm a bee Buzz off can't you see I'm busy?

I've been a patient of Dr. Taj's for over 10 years. He's awesome and caring. Addresses questions in a manner that is understandable, is thorough in exams, counsels as needed in a caring manner. No facade but genuine concern and takes the extra time when needed for patients. He's a rare find when it comes to Family Doctors and I feel truly blessed to be his patient.

Absolutely the worst doctor, PA, and staff we have ever dealt with....no follow through, no returning phone calls, did not respond to my parents (subsequently my father DIED) needs.. For 6 months we have tried to get them to help us via fax, phone, e mial etc....extremely unprofessional....WOULD NEVER recommend this clinic to anyone!!

The staff first. One of the worst ever. No accountability or customer service skills. You have to follow up with staff about everything. But you can bet they will charge you for the subpar service. Next the wait time is very long. Can't remember the last time I saw the Doctor close to my schedule time (even first appts). Most times I'm in the waiting room at least 40 minutes and then wait in the exam room for an additional 15-20 minutes, but the Dr will spend a whole 10 minutes with you during your exam. Dr Taj was just starting on the South side of San Antonio when I became a patient after leaving the military in 1993. I think the money took over his ethical thinking and that the American dollar consume him. Office hours states 8-6pm, and I called several times after 5pm and received the answer service. Guess if the recording states open to 6, I expect someone in the office to answer the phone before 6pm. I can't wait to change Doctors. Dr Taj does not care and only trying to make as… much money as he can.

What a joke. Dr. Taj is in business for money and not care of patients from what I have seen since going to his practice. He is unable to keep other physicans on staff and wants only patients that are "PREFERRED". When you really need help you are sent to a "Specialist" or ignored. Where has care of the patients gone? I am tired of spending money to be ignored and pawned off.

This doctor is assigned as my daughters primary physician and I have yet to hear back from the office for 2 days. Unprofessional in my opinion. Not even apologetic.

In 2011, Dr Taj may have been spreading himself this because he had a second clinic on Blanco Rd, but I hardly ever saw him. He was always somewhere elso so I was seen by the physicians assistant a lot. I did not like that, but what choice do I have when I am in need.
