Mojirayo Sarumi, DO, MPH

I would not recommend Dr Sarumi. While she is nice, I have no idea why she keeps having me come back to the office for weekly scans. My OB says they are not required since everything checked out, but she says I need to come back anyway to monitor without giving more information or reasoning. Additionally, I find myself waiting to see her for a very long time after my scan. This happens every time I see her. Sometimes over an hour. It seems to me that she either does not know what she is doing (over her head) or that she is just covering unknowns by having me come back weekly for scans hoping to find something. Either way causes me concern and my OB can't explain it to me. I would recommend you look for other providers in the area.

Dr. Sarumi is nice, but the plan that was made does not make sense to my OB. I tried looking up her board certification and am only able to find that she is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. I am not able to find anything about her Maternal Fetal Medicine board certification. I'm not sure I'm comfortable seeing a non board certified doctor when the life of by baby is at stake. I am hoping I am wrong, but cannot find it anywhere and her office keeps telling me they will get back to me. I just don't know why it would be so hard to find.

After a few visits to see Dr. Sarumi I would not recommend her. I do not have confidence in the path that we are taking with my pregnancy. She tells me there is nothing wrong, but has me coming back weekly for additional scanning. If there was nothing wrong, why does she need me scanned every week. I feel like she is hoping that something corrects itself and she does not have tell me why I keep having to come back. It may just be me, but that is the feeling I get when talking to her.
