Dr. Mollie Kristin Ezzie, MD

Dr Ezzie is a great person not only a knowledgeable doctor, but she listens to how you are feeling and interested about you genuinely. If is was not for Dr. Ozzie listening to what I was saying how I felt and the difficulties I was having, and taking things a step further by palpatating the areas and listening to my symptoms, I would have never gotten an ultrasound done on my thyroid and gotten a referral to see an endocrinology specialist who then took on my care and found out I had tumors on my thyroid and they did find cancer but underwent surgery in 2019 and so far to today I still remain cancer free with my regular check ups. I would highly recommend Dr. Mollie Ezzie to take care of you and your family.

BEWARE OF BILLING PRACTICES - As others have said, Dr. Ezzie seems like a good doctor. I had my first annual exam with her after leaving my long-time ob-gyn. I enjoyed my interaction with her. She asked lots of questions, and I felt that she really wanted to know my specific circumstances. Her nurse (whose name I forget now) was lovely, too. I had to wait a ridiculously long time after my appointment time to see her, but that's not terribly unusual with doctors, I guess However, I was billed for TWO appointments when I only had one. I was told that, because matters outside of my annual exam were discussed during my appointment, I had to pay for a separate visit. I have no idea what we could have possibly discussed outside of my annual exam. Dr. Ezzie asked me questions that I thought were routine for a new patient and for an annual exam and I answered them. From my perspective, all was typical, and at no time was I told that the discussion scope was beyond an annual exam (again, SHE… asked ME questions and I answered them honestly). A few weeks later, I got a bill and was confused. The additional billing code indicates that it's for "an established patient" (I was not) and that the subjects discussed were "significant, separately identifiable evaluation and management service by the same physician on the same day." Only the same physician and same day were correct. I've disputed it with both their coding office and my insurance carrier, but both say that they can only go on what the doctor has said. I have tried to send a message to Dr. Ezzie (or even someone from her office) via the medical portal ("myhealthrecord.com") because they don't seem to have an actual email address, but no one has ever bothered to answer my message. So, buyer beware. She seems like a good doctor and I would have loved to continue to see her, but I just can't. I don't trust her or her practice any longer. I feel like she or the practice is trying to double-bill and I'm left holding the bag for it. That's not ok.

My first and only pregnancy experience ended in a miscarriage, unfortunately. However, Dr Ezzie made this terrible experience much more comfortable for me. She took her time with my husband and I to explain any concerns or questions we had. She then offered different options for treatment and included me in the decision-process (always keeping me well-informed with regards to the steps). She’s a very intelligent doctor and she’s very well trained in her field. She successfully performed a D&C on me and things went very smoothly. Despite having a negative first-time pregnancy experience, she has kept the hope alive. I would return to her in the future, in a heartbeat!

When I was in direct contact with Dr. Ezzie at an appointment, I thought she was very kind and would answer any questions I asked, but she was incredibly difficult to get in touch with outside of those appts. Her appts also run about 45 minutes to an hour behind schedule on average. On the day of my delivery, I waited almost 2 hours after my appt time to see her and was about to walk out when they finally brought me back. Then I was sent over to Labor and Delivery to be induced due to sudden symptoms of pre-eclampsia. While I was in labor over the next 24 hours, she didn't check in with me once during that time, even though I was in the hospital adjoining her practice. When I was finally down to the wire, they had to call her at least 3 times to come complete the delivery, even though she didn't even have to leave the building to get there. I actually had to stop pushing for a while to wait on her. After the delivery, she didn't even come by to see me or explain what just happened or… what to expect over the next couple of days. This was my first child so I was clueless. The hospital staff were wonderful, but I could tell even they were a little frustrated with her. When I tried to schedule a follow-up appointment with her office, they tried to push it out 6 weeks, even though I had to go to the emergency room a couple days after release with post delivery complications. She's a nice lady, but I think she has too many patients and too many demands on her time to provide quality care. I will say though, her MA was really nice and helpful every time I called or dropped in. That lady is wonderful.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Ezzie. She is compassionate, knowledgable, thorough, and goes above- and- beyond. While in the past I would dread my annual appointments, Dr Ezzie makes the experience so much better with her ability to make her patients feel so comfortable and welcome. She is absolutely wonderful!

I really liked Dr. Ezzie - very kind, not rushed and always willing to listen to my concerns. The problem is the amount of time you are actually in contact with Dr. Ezzie pales in comparison with the time you spend cutting through all of all the red tape you have to get through with her staff. I had an IUD put in and a year later I knew something was wrong, I had been having horrible side effects. Her staff continued to insist that these side effects couldn't have been caused by the IUD (without even offering to have me come in to check). Eventually I insisted to make an appt to get it out and they tried to schedule me TWO MONTHS out! I was in incredible amounts of pain. I finally insisted, and broke down emotionally on the phone before I was offered an appt two weeks later. Sure enough, when I get there, Dr. Ezzie said there WAS something wrong with the IUD and it was causing my symptoms and I needed to take a pregnancy test because it was no longer effective and said that it was a… good thing I came in when I did... Her staff made me feel crazy, it was endless back and forth before I was even granted an appointment with Dr. Ezzie and it just wasn't worth it. I had both my kids here (neither delivered by Dr. Ezzie b/c she wasn't on call) but I am taking my business elsewhere. It shouldn't be this difficult to access a Doctor.

I like dr. Ezzie, she is sweet, but her staff and nurses very nasty and unreasonable. I called a few times to ask questions due to the fact that I had a toxic pregnancy, but I felt like the nurses were trying to end the conversation very fast. They also neglected to scheduled me for the next app with dr. Ezzie, therefore I was in the situation that I saw dr. Ezzie every six weeks in my third trimester (when I should have seen her every 2 weeks). The staff also neglected to call me and let you know that dr. Ezzie had a delivery, so they let me show up for my app (after taking the day off from work), without accommodating me to see another dr since I was already there. The wait time for appointments were also close to 45-50 minutes until seeing the doctor. Also, when I would call complaining that I was extremely nauseous, they would tell me that they will ask dr. Ezzie about a solution, but I would receive a phone call the next day (after throwing up multiple times per day). Towards the… end I also felt that dr. Ezzie was still sweet, but not too caring. For the test results I would always had to call because nobody would call me to let you know of the results, and when I would call the nurse would tell me "i thing they are ok".

Dr. Ezzie is great! Like some people have said, it's a little difficult to get an early appointment at her Dublin office, but it's totally worth the wait. And, they're more than happy to figure out another office to see you in if you can't make it when she's in Dublin (I don't recommend Mt. Carmel, though. It's kind of a gross office). She's super sweet and has a very calming presence. I recommend her to everyone. She delivered my first son. Soon after, I found a bump in my breast, and they did not mess around. The DAY I called them, they got me in for an appointment with a nurse practitioner. She also was quick to treat me when I had thrush. I can't say enough good about her. The only downside to the practice is the receptionists aren't so warm and friendly.

Dr. Ezzie was the overseeing MD for my first child. My delivery was supposed to be at home, but complications landed me at Dublin Methodist Hospital. Luckily Dr. Ezzy was the on call doctor, and gave us very clear decision making information. My baby was induced and delivered quickly and safely. After delivering my child, I have continued going to see Dr. Ezzie for my GYN care. She is personable, understanding, and makes you feel like your health is important to her. I refered my aunt to her for a complete hysterectomy - excellent results. Scheduling appointments is a little tricky at her Dublin office but it's worth the wait. I would suggest Dr. Ezzie to anyone!!

I've always hated going to the doctor, scheduling appts., etc. Dr. Ezzie is so wonderful at what she does and I feel so comfortable at every visit. I don't dread every appt. like I did with my previous OB/GYN. She's personable and sweet. She's my doctor, but I really do feel as if I'm talking to a friend at every appoinment. And now that I am 32 weeks pregnant and seeing her very often, that is such a blessing.
