Dr. Molly C Adams, MD

Absolutely horrible waited over 2 hours to be seen and then when we were seen she didn’t know what was wrong with my son referred us to the emergency room I refuse to see this doctor again been practicing medicine since 87 you think she would have some knowledge and her stuff together i see now why she has a 3.8 star rating !! HIGHLY DON’T RECOMMEND!!!

I visited the MD360 on Verdae in an attempt to get 3 weeks of refills for my medications. Let me say that I have bipolar I and have been taking these medications for more than 10 years. In fact, I am on disability for bipolar. My recent circumstances have been that I've been back and forth between Greenville (where my family lives) and Myrtle Beach (where I live) for a little over a year, but I've mostly been in Greenville, since my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer (on 9/27/16 - incidentally, her 66th birthday). Her dad - not incidentally - died from pancreatic cancer. For anyone familiar with bipolar, it should be known that situational issues hit us harder than other people. I was already dealing with a depressive episode when my mom was diagnosed, and the following year has been really difficult. I've had months where I barely got out of bed. This has led to me not keeping up with doctors appointments in MB (because that is where my psychiatrist is) and ultimately led to my… case being closed at mental health (my options are limited with Medicare). So, having been doing a little better the past few months, I have had my case reopened and done the requisite intake and counselor appointments...it takes a while to actually get to see the doctor - in this case three months. I'd had my GP fill the prescriptions in the interim, but they were not quite enough to get me through to the actual psychiatrist appt., plus I am once again in Greenville. I actually went back to MB specifically for the counselor appt., so I feel I'm relatively on top of things. That brings me to MD 360. I waited through people getting seen who'd come in after me, and waited for an hour once I got shown to a room. When the doctor finally made an appearance - Molly Adams was her name - she was lacking empathy and possibly even the most basic knowledge of psych drugs as she told me she NEVER filled two of them and she doesn't fill schedule 2 drugs. The drugs in question were lithium and Seroquel - neither of which are schedule 2 drugs. I'm not trying to get high off my lithium. Perhaps more troubling was the fact that she seemed oblivious to the fact that you're not supposed to stop taking ANY psych meds cold turkey. And more troubling still may be the fact that I've had those meds refilled, I think twice, in the last three years AT THIS LOCATION. So, I completely wasted my time and gas and had to reschedule a job interview (I'm in the process of moving back here), because I want to seem lucid and intelligent and like someone they'd want to hire instead of the sleep deprived and false wired person I'd actually be sans meds. I would not recommend to anyone - or at least request a doctor who isn't Molly Adams. She probably tells people with depression that they should just exercise and they'll feel better.

Dr. Molly Adams paid very close attention to me when I told her my ailments. Dr. Adams listen and didn't make me feel just another patient. I could talk very easily to her. Dr. Adams knew my illness were real not being faked. I will always appreciate her for that too

I was on time for the appointment, but after 45 minutes and still not sight of Dr. Molly C Adams I decided to left. No excuses were provide about any reasons behind the delay. If the situation was in reverse any patient would have been billed for the full amount of the said visit. It was a waste of time.
