Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I chose a career in medicine because of my desire to help people. I've been able to care for patients in a variety of settings and being a part of their care is very rewarding. I've also seen the positive impact providers can have on a patient and their families, and I wanted to be able to provide the same quality of care to my own patients.What I want my patients to know about me:I consider myself to be an empathetic person, and I want patients to be able to come to me and feel that I am really listening to their concerns. I will work with patients to help them achieve their goals and take the time to answer any questions they may have along the way.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I can usually be found at a local coffee shop or spending time with my two dogs! I also enjoy baking, reading, and watching documentaries.
