I have been to plenty of doctors offices and here I have felt like I’m treated not only like a human being but they genuinely care about my wellbeing. Dr Gupta and her team helped me through a very hard time. I look at the other reviews and I know that sometimes you may not like what you are told but it’s unfair to review someone especially a doctor based on that. No one likes to eat healthy and exercise but you do it because it’s good for you! This office rocks and we are lucky to have her in Raleigh!

My first visit to see Dr. Gupta. She was very caring , and concerned to me. Her staff was great, caring , everyone done a great job. I am very pleased to have Dr. Gupta for my new Doctor. Also I had a time later when I had to call and get help, they were great, caring, helped right away.

I would never recommend anyone to this practice. I went to Dr.Gupta for help during a difficult time in my life. I was battling depression, had recently become pregnant, however, my fiancé decided he didn't want children yet. He said he changed his mind because he wasn't ready, and was demanding I get an abortion. (My fiancé was a patient of Dr.Gupta as well) He made an appointment to see Dr. Gupta's counselor, and because they knew the situation and that I was his fiancé they asked if I would consider a joint appointment, and I said yes. We saw the counselor. During the session I was crying. My ex-fiancé was adamant that abortion was in my best interest, and that he was upset because he had driven me to an abortion clinic a couple of weeks earlier, but I refused to get one. The counselor who appeared to favor his side and show him greatest understanding looked at me and told me that his opinion was "not wrong", and that both of us had valid points. She urged me to hear him… out. I could not believe it. I met with Dr. Gupta, and told her I felt her counselor showed little empathy and in no way assisted the situation. She appeared aggravated that I critiqued her counselors method and LITERALLY told me that I had "no right" coming to my ex-fiancés session, and that it should have been private to begin with. I explained to her that I was not supposed to come but that it was HER staff that recommended I come in for joint session because of the situation. She stated she saw nothing wrong with how her counselor handled the therapy session and I told her she didn't understand, and began crying. She told me "I know exactly how you feel. I went with my friend to an abortion clinic recently when she got an abortion and the people outside yelled at us". That was one of the most ignorant statements I have heard from a professional in my life. First, nobody knows exactly how another person feels. As a psychiatrist, Dr. Gupta should know that. And second, stating that she knew how I felt because she accompanied someone else into an abortion clinic is ridiculous. The two comparisons are very different. For every bad situation brought to light, there are many that are not. I can't imagine I was the first or last person treated this way. There is not one word here that I would feel uncomfortable stating directly to the practice because it is one hundred percent true. Choose another psychiatrist/mental health provider and don't put yourself in a position where the place you go to for help makes you feel a hundred times worse.

Very hard to get in touch with someone here or get a call back once you become a patient. Sometimes it takes 3 - 4 calls and more than 24 hours for a return call. My wife was made to actually have anxiety after her visit today (Dec 15th), the secretary was very rude to her and upset her. Maybe they grew to fast, not really sure but things went down hill quickly after our first appointment. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else.

We finally found an amazing psychiatrist! Dr. Gupta was great with our son and our family, and I would highly recommend her and the practice. The office environment makes you feel comfortable; the staff are all smiling and super friendly, it's just a happy to place to visit. Dr. Gupta is very caring and wants to help. We had no wait time and didn't feel rushed at all. A+++ for sure, I don't have one complaint.

This practice has been a life saver for me. They're kind, compassionate and knowledable. I appreciate all they have done for me to improve my quality of life.
