I have a rare condition and Dr. G has been my doctor for over 12 years. She is willing to go the extra mile for her patients and is extremely thorough.

Dr. Girotra has been very accessible during the pandemic and tries to help however she can, even outside her specialty. She is sincerely concerned about how her patients are doing during these difficult times. So glad she is my doctor!

I would not have found my cancer if she did not detect it. She explained everything very well.

Very thorough. An expert in her field. The emergency instructions she gives is necessary to save your life. Our previous doctor did not even mention emergency precautions for my condition. Our family has trusted her many years. Highly recommend.

Dr Girotra is one of the rudest doctors ever. I keep telling myself to get new doctor. First off like the other patient description the same thing happened about all of a sudden I need an emergency needle and bracelet with no real explanation of why I need one and in what situation I will need it. The whole needle thing didn't make any sense to me. Walk around with a needle and wait to get run over by a car? I'm supposed to where an emergency medical bracelet so if I get run over they know to find the needle on me and give me an injection-what? seriously better come up with something better than that - 2020 is coming its not the 80's! anyway I also never received this mysterious needle, probably and insurance scam. On top of that she rushes me in and out so fast I realized I wasn't getting my questions answered and my other doctor was explaining it to me. She also starts laughing when my levels are low etc,. which I couldn't believe a doctor would outright laugh at a patients symptoms.

I have never met such a rude and impatient Dr. After my initial work up with the nurse, Dr Girotra sent her back in 3 more times with other questions instead of just asking me while she was examining me. I then waited at least an hour In the room with the door closed for her to finally breeze in and introduce herself so quickly that I didn’t even realize she was the doctor. Once in the room, she totally neglected to actually acknowledge the reason I was there but picked other reasons that weren’t my actual reason for being there. Addressed none of my questions but told me her nurse would come in and show me how to give myself an emergency injection and left. The nurse came back in and briefly explained this kit I was going to get and told me the script would be sent to my pharmacy. It never was. I was also told they would call me the next day with my blood work results on the few things she did check. No one has called me yet and it’s several days later. Also the issue I was there… for....no testing for it at all. Run away! I got the bottom of the barrel when they gave me to her. Sad that this is a Sloan Kettering Doctor!

Dr Girotra is a very smart doctor and talks like she is teaching. She is nice initially, but then just wants to examine you and send you to the waiting room. She has no patience and even tries to finish patient's sentences. She is rude and uncaring-no bedside manner at all. I did not go back.
