Dr. Monica Claudette Martin, MD

I am astounded by the absolutely horrendous bedside manner of the staff. I tried to make an appointment because I wasn’t able to get to my doctor and thought I might have an infection. I offered to pay out of pocket and they told me it would be $350 for a first time visit. All I did was have the audacity to ask “even if I don’t need a file examine, I just kind of have an emergency? It would probably only take ten minutes.” Instead of saying yes, I am sorry, she yelled at me saying nothing takes 10 minutes and hung up on me. She then proceeded to TEXT me and harass me going on and on about how Dr. Martin is not a fast food doctor and that I was the rude one! I am literally speechless. Not the way to handle a potential new patient who was already in a state of concern, especially for a doctor that was completely open for appointments all day and clearly needs business. Just because I only need the doctor for an emergency doesn’t mean I am insulting her. I am literally speechless. For all… I know Dr. Martin could be fantastic, but there are hundreds of other doctors who’s staff isn’t so horrible.

After being seen by 6 of NYC's 'top' gyns, and consistently being misdiagnosed for 25 years, Dr. Martin found the problem within 5 min. I had the surgery to correct the problem 45 days later and have never felt better. She gave me my life back and I feel I have a friend and trustworthy confidant for the rest of my life. She is INCREDIBLE!!!!
